Abstract: A customer assistance system for stores with a very large sales area, particularly hypermarkets, as they are called, in which a plurality of information output devices, for example, display panels, which are arranged so as to be distributed over the sales area for outputting information directed to the customers and at least one central computer are provided, which central computer controls the output of information, particularly advertising information, by means of the information output devices, for example, display panels, by means of transmission means and predefinable programs.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system for utilizing existing information carriers used for advertising purposes or for directing traffic in shopping centers, leisure facilities and similar commercially used facilities which comprise goods stores and possibly restaurants or similar supply structures that are accessible and connected to each other via corridors and in which facility-owned means of transport (2) are made available to the public for transporting purchases and/or other objects. A plurality of information carriers is disposed across the surface area of the commercially used facility. A triggering device issuing at least one, preferably a number of different advertisements is assigned to said information carriers in addition to a triggering device issuing a standard message. The triggering device of the information carriers (7) can be switched over by means of sensors, each of which emits a signal that is characteristic of a specific transport vehicle.

Abstract: In extensive and complex installations such as airports or train stations, a sufficient quantity of luggage pushcarts is made available to passengers of arriving mass transportation means at the location of arrival and at the time of arrival of the mass transportation means with the smallest possible expenditure of time and personnel and the payment of a user fee or a security deposit by the individual travelers is facilitated in that the retrieval of individual luggage pushcarts is controlled by means of a cart tracking system comprising a stationary transmitter/receiver system and a mobile transmitter/receiver system and by at least one computer/display unit, and the security deposit acceptance device has a programmable money changing machine which accepts at least one foreign currency.

Abstract: A delivery cart including a chassis, one or two castors pivotable about a vertical axis and two support wheels for supporting the chassis on a ground, a substantially vertically extending displacement stirrup attached to the chassis, a gearless, load-actuated reversible electric motor, formed integrally with the respective wheels, and a control system for controlling power supply to the electric motors and including sensors for sensing a displacement force or a steering force applied to the cart, and a free-programmable control unit for controlling power supply to the electric motors, in accordance with the one of a displacement force and a steering force.

Abstract: An advertisement system for an airport facility having a plurality of gates connected by passageways and aisles and provided in departure and arrival buildings with restaurants and shops, with information carriers emitting written and picture messages and provided on information boards, and with a plurality of luggage pushcarts for transporting luggage of airport passengers inside the facility, the advertisements system including a plurality of advertisement panels each having a standard advertisement message and at least one different advertisement message stored in the advertisement panels, and elements which arbitrary change the messages so that one of the advertisement messages is displayed at a time.

Abstract: A push luggage cart including a rigid load-bearing frame defining a longitudinal luggage-carrying surface inclined in a direction opposite to a forward movement direction of the cart, a front steering roller and two rear support rollers, two upright bars for supporting a push handle, and a front connection part and two rear connection parts, all having connection members for supporting the frame on the front and rear rollers, with the frame including hollow profile connection sections form-lockingly engaging the connection members of the front and rear connection parts.

Abstract: Equipment for monitoring combat vehicles, especially tanks, firing practice firing with simulated rounds. Each combat vehicle has a laser that emits a pulse of light when the firing button is pressed and devices to receive and display an arriving pulse of light. A television pickup is coupled to a monitoring or targeting device in each combat vehicle and can be connected through a video section with a television monitor at a director's post. At the director's post there are at least two television monitors, each assigned to a given group of combat vehicles. As long as none of the firing buttons in any of the combat vehicles are pressed, the image supplied from the monitoring or targeting device in a selected combat vehicle will appear on each television monitor. When a firing button is pressed in one of the vehicles, the image supplied from the monitoring or targeting device in that vehicle will appear on the monitor associated with the vehicle for a predetermined period of time.

Abstract: Apparatus for the supervision of a battle vehicle, especially an armored vehicle, from a control station during training exercises. The apparatus has a television camera which is coupled to an aiming or observation apparatus in the battle vehicle and is connected by a video transmission circuit to a television receiver disposed at the control station. Outside of the battle vehicle, a television camera which can be aimed at the target area is set up in the field and can also be connected to the television receiver disposed in the control station. A remotely controlled switching device is disposed in the control station, by which either the video signal emitted by the television camera in the battle vehicle or the one emitted by the television camera set up in the field can be connected to the television receiver. The switching device is remotely operated by a firing signal transmitted from the battle vehicle.
