Abstract: A system concept and the components integrated therein for storing useful and control information as well as feature items, general components for data flow control of all components integrated in the system concept as well as special components for data flow and process control of interface systems for laser-beam recorders permit handling of useful and control information as well as feature items independently of physical music/data carriers within premastering and the production of glass masters (mastering) in CD plants. All the various types of information are stored in on-line compatible mass storages and automatically transferred into the sectors calling for the information concerned by general data flow control components. Requests for information can be generated manually or automatically.

Abstract: The invention relates to grinding aids for X-ray fluorescence analysis which consist of a polysaccharide binder, sugar or sugar alcohols as filler and of a lubricant. The grinding aids according to the invention are easy to use and provide very reproducible analytical data.

Abstract: A workpiece holder for a vertical broaching machine for broading annular workpieces is particularly useful for simultaneous broaching of two ball-bearing races in the rings of homokinetic joints. A workpiece support, rotatable relative to a baseplate about a common axis and accepting the workpiece coaxially by means of a tightening device, is nonrotatably connected to a double-ended piston which can be subjected to the action of pressure-oil, the piston being guided rotatably and axially displaceably between two end positions in a cylinder. Complementary set of teeth are provided at one end of the piston and on a facing surface, nonrotatably connected to the baseplate, these teeth being in mesh when the piston is in the first end position, thus centering the piston and holding it in a nonrotational manner.

Abstract: A manufacturing method for depositing an Nb.sub.3 Sn layer on a niobium surface for high frequency applications comprising developing a tin vapor atmosphere which also contains a highly volatile tin compound in the gaseous state, and holding the portions of the surface which are to be provided with the Nb.sub.3 Sn layer at a temperature of between 900.degree. and 1500.degree. C for a predetermined period of time to form the Nb.sub.3 Sn layer permitting niobium surfaces of any shape to be provided with Nb.sub.3 Sn layers of high uniformity and quality.

Abstract: A workpiece holder for a vertical broaching machine for broaching annular workpieces is provided with at least two centering pieces for radial immobilization of the workpieces. The centering pieces are radially pressable against an annular surface of the workpiece by a common drive means. The centering pieces are displaced until they rest firmly against the radial surface of the workpiece, thus ensuring that diametrical tolerances of the workpiece are completely eliminated.

Abstract: Hot working roller reinforced with a working jacket of hard metal or the like, the jacket being prestressed in the direction of the roller axis by a clamping force acting via clamping rings presenting clamping surfaces inclined with respect to the roller axis, with the jacket being separated from the roller body by an annular gap having a height such that during use of the roller the outer surface of the roller body remains out of contact with the inner surface of the jacket over the entire intended operating temperature range of the roller.

Abstract: A method for the manufacture of a superconductive Nb.sub.3 Sn layer on a niobium surface for high frequency applications in which the niobium surface to be provided with an Nb.sub.3 Sn layer is first anodically oxidized, the niobium oxide layer produced in this manner then exposed to a tin vapor atmosphere in such a way that a tin layer is formed on the niobium oxide layer, and finally, the niobium surface is heated to a temperature of between 930.degree. and about 1400.degree. C for forming the Nb.sub.3 Sn layer.
