  • Publication number: 20210330063
Abstract: A carrying belt for carrying a video camera or still camera on the body having a shoulder pad, a belt coupled to the shoulder pad that runs transversely across the upper body of a user, and at least one connecting piece for fastening the belt to the video or still camera. The belt includes a slide via which the belt is coupled to the shoulder pad so that the belt is movable in the direction of a longitudinal extension of the belt relative to the shoulder pad and is simultaneously secured to the shoulder pad transversely to the longitudinal extension. This solution is a development of a known carrying belt by allowing attachment of a still or video camera to the belt at the fittings provided for attaching a classical neck strap or to one of these fittings and a tripod belt bush on a camera.

  • Patent number: 10161437
Abstract: A retaining element that is detachably securable to a connector that is securable to a threaded bushing embedded in the bottom of a camera housing for preventing the connector screw from loosening in the threaded bushing. The retaining element has a connecting section, a spacer section and a rear-engagement section. The connecting section detachably secures the retaining element to the connector screw. The spacer section adjoins the connecting section and extends along the bottom of the camera housing when the connector screw, with the retaining element secured thereto, is screwed into the threaded bushing. The rear-engagement section adjoins the spacer section and extends at an angle relative to the spacer section. The rear-engagement section engages behind a wall of the camera housing, in particular the rear wall that adjoins the bottom of the camera housing.

  • Patent number: 9993062
Abstract: An impact-damper element for carrying straps that is active in a longitudinal direction. The element has a flexible, flat band portion with two mutually opposite main surfaces, runs in a longitudinal direction in undulating lines that are deflected transversely to the longitudinal direction and have reversal points and transverse portions running between the reversal points. A support is applied to at least one of the main surfaces of the band portion, is fixed to the band portion, retains the band portion in a normal position along the undulating lines and is made of an elastic material. The support is of varying thickness over the course of the undulating lines; being of the smallest thickness in a central portion of the transverse portions of the band portion and the thickness increases from the central portion to the reversal points. The support is at its thickest at the reversal points.

  • Publication number: 20170208926
Abstract: A connection adapter for connecting a carrying strap to binoculars. The adapter includes an adapter body having a first connecting portion in which a tripod screw for connection to a tripod bush is arranged rotatably relative to the adapter body and oriented with a screw thread axis along a first direction. The adapter body also includes a second connecting portion that connects to a connection piece on the carrying strap. The first and second connecting portions are offset relative to one another in a direction perpendicular to the screw thread axis by a first spacing and in a direction parallel to the screw thread axis by a second spacing. The second connecting portion has a thread for receiving a tripod screw, formed with a thread axis extending parallel to the screw thread axis or inclined relative thereto by a maximum of 20° or has a coupling element.

  • Patent number: 9091905
Abstract: A system comprising a flashlight and continuous light reflector arm for fixing to a photographic apparatus, a flashlight, a continuous light unit, or to film or video cameras. Flash units are often mounted centrally onto a camera causing the flash to come from the same direction from which the photograph is taken. The system allows targeted illumination from a direction different from that from which the photograph is taken, does not require complicated measures with regard to flash control, manages with comparatively little light power and does not further influence the center of gravity of the camera. The system is composed of camera and flashlight or continuous light unit, including a fixing arm fixed to the photographic apparatus by a fixing means and includes means for fixing a reflection element, wherein the reflector arm is designed such that the reflection means is positioned laterally alongside the photographic apparatus.

  • Patent number: 8579522
Abstract: The present invention relates to a camera screw and to a system consisting of a camera screw and a carrying strap. Carrying straps with appropriate fastenings on the sides of the camera are known. They have numerous disadvantages that should be avoided by the present invention. The camera screw in accordance with the invention for connecting a carrying strap to a tripod thread of a camera includes a first part and a second part. The first part includes a tripod screw on a first end and a circumferential collar on the second end. The second part surrounds the first part between the collar and the tripod screw in a rotatable manner relative to the first part about an axis of rotation. A friction reducing means is provided between the second part and the collar. The second part includes a fastening for the carrying strap.

  • Patent number: 8382302
Abstract: A portable foldable lighting designer (10) which includes a closed frame (11) made from an elastic, deformable material, where the frame is movable between a folded and an unfolded position, and a covering (12). The covering (12) is arranged in the frame and held by the latter to manipulate the light, and is kept tightened in the plane of the frame, when the lighting designer is completely unfolded by the material tension of the material of the frame. The covering is dimensioned smaller in a direction (B) than the width (D) of the uncovered frame in the completely unfolded position.

  • Publication number: 20130038786
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system comprising a flashlight and continuous light reflector arm (9, 12) for fixing to a photographic apparatus (2) and a flashlight and continuous light unit (3). The invention can also be used in the case of film and video cameras. Carefully chosen illumination of an object is a basic prerequisite for successful photographs. For this purpose, various flash units and reflectors can be set up in the area. This is comparatively laborious. Therefore, flash units are often mounted centrally onto a camera. This causes the flashlight to come from the same direction from which the photograph is taken, too.

  • Publication number: 20120170278
Abstract: The invention relates to a portable light manipulator. Such a portable light manipulator is described in the form of a light reflector e.g. in EP 0 597 199 A1. The required force for fastening the cross member to the longitudinal members during assembly is considerable, however. The aim of the invention is to provide an improved portable light manipulator that is both easier to operate and allows higher tolerance with respect to the cloth tension and counteracts the reduction of said tension due to aging effects.
