  • Patent number: 9975393
Abstract: A self-pumping hydropneumatic suspension strut includes a high pressure area and a low pressure area, wherein pressurized medium is exchanged between the high pressure area and the low pressure area via a passive pump device. At least two separate channel systems with connection orifices which determine level position and are controlled depending on the position of a piston rod are provided between the high pressure area and the low pressure area. One of the channel systems can be blocked by a valve device, and wherein the suspension strut has a displacing device with a spring seat for a supporting spring. The displacing device is operated via the working movement of the piston rod.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 19, 2016
Date of Patent: May 22, 2018
    Assignee: ZF Friedrichshafen AG
Inventors: Holger Kirchner, Bernhard Russ, Johannes Hampel, Wolfgang Prinz

  • Patent number: 4799932
Abstract: A method for imparting hydrophobicity and softness to leather and skins comprising treatment thereof with at least one sulfosuccinic acid monoamide of the formula ##STR1## wherein R and R' are, independently, H or a C.sub.12-24 alkyl, andone of x or y is SO.sub.2 and the other is H; either alone, or in sequence or simultaneously with at least one other hydrophobicizing agent, at least one impregnating agent, or at least one neutral oil; as well as a composition having the above ingredients.

  • Patent number: 4527992
Abstract: This invention relates to a process for producing waterproof leathers and skins by tanning, retanning, dyeing, stuffing, and fixing which is characterized in that, after tanning and, optionally, dyeing, stuffing agents (A) in the form of oxidized or oxidized and partly sulfonated long-chain hydrocarbons of waxes and impregnating agents (B) in the form of copolymers or from 60 to 95 mol percent of (meth) acrylic acid and from 5 to 40 mol percent of an ester, amide or nitrile of (meth) acrylic acid having a molecular weight of from 800 to 10,000 in salt form are successively used in the same bath, followed by acidification, fixing and finishing. The co-use of the impregnating agents (B) with the particular stuffing agents (A) results in much greater degree of resistance to water penetration than that obtained by the use of the stuffing agent (A), alone.
