  • Publication number: 20240124891
Abstract: The present invention relates to CRISPR-mediated means and methods, e.g., for adjustably induction of multiple gene expression and subsequent cell reprogramming. Particularly, the CRISPR-mediated means and methods of the present invention relate to conversion of endogenous glial cells into GABAergic neurons representing an effective method for cell reprogramming.

  • Publication number: 20220412581
Abstract: An industrial installation having a primary supply circuit in which cooling water is conveyed and a consumer to which cooling water from the primary supply circuit is provided and which is connected to the primary supply circuit via a secondary supply circuit. An outward flow line of the secondary supply circuit is connected to an outward flow line of the primary supply circuit, and a return flow line of the secondary supply circuit is connected to a return flow line of the primary supply circuit. The outward flow line of the primary supply circuit is connected to a groundwater delivery line of a spring installation which has a groundwater delivery line through which groundwater can be conveyed from an aquifer and can be fed as cooling water into the outward flow line of the primary supply circuit. Also provided is a method for operating an industrial installation wherein the cooling water that is used is naturally occurring groundwater which is obtained from an aquifer with the aid of a spring installation.

  • Publication number: 20190283066
Abstract: A conditioning device for conditioning a gaseous medium to form a conditioned gaseous process medium having an inlet connection device and an outlet connection device between which a flow path for gaseous medium having at least one heating device for heating gaseous medium, is formed. The heating device is connected to an internal combustion engine heat pump system having at least one internal combustion engine so that the waste heat of the internal combustion engine can be used to heat the gaseous medium. A method for operating a conditioning device for conditioning a gaseous medium to form a conditioned gaseous process medium, wherein a flow path for gaseous medium is formed between an inlet connection device and an outlet connection device, the flow path having at least one heating device for heating gaseous medium. The heating device uses the waste heat of an internal combustion engine of an internal combustion engine heat pump system to heat the gaseous medium.

  • Publication number: 20190024995
Abstract: A supply circuit for a heat exchange medium for a consumer having an inflow line for the heat exchange medium and a return line for the heat exchange medium, the lines being connected to one another by way of a consumer heat exchanger. A pumping device for conveying the heat exchange medium through the supply circuit is a frequency-controlled pumping device having a conveying pump and a frequency converter which is assigned to the conveying pump. For an industrial plant, a primary circuit is connected to a supply circuit of this type as a secondary circuit. In either case, the supply circuit is operated selectively in one of two operating modes. In a first operating mode, the temperature of the heat exchange medium which enters into the consumer heat exchanger from the inflow line is set by way of an admixture control operation in which the temperature of the heat exchange medium which enters into the consumer heat exchanger from the inflow line is set by way of an actuation of the valve.

  • Patent number: 7210521
Abstract: A heat medium distributor for an air inlet system having multiple heat exchangers includes a box-like housing, which is divided by a dividing wall into a first flow chamber, which is used as the forward collection pipe, and a second flow chamber, which is used as the return collection pipe. For each heat exchanger to be connected, a forward connection nozzle branches off the first flow chamber and for each heat exchanger to be connected, a return connection nozzle opens into the second flow chamber. The arrangement of the connection nozzles is such that all flow paths of the heat medium through the various heat exchangers and the distributor are of equal length. The heat medium distributor replaces traditional heat medium distributors which are produced by welding together individual pieces of pipe, and which are structurally relatively large and therefore expensive, and in general cannot be housed in the housing of the air inlet system.
