  • Patent number: 11204238
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for coating cavity walls, in particular cylinder bores of engine blocks. In the method, a coating is applied to a cavity wall using a coating lance. In addition, a cavity diameter is measured using a measuring apparatus. According to the invention, the method is characterized in that at least a plurality of diameter values of a first cavity are measured at different heights of the first cavity using the measuring apparatus, and in that a coating of variable thickness is applied to a wall of the first or a second cavity using the coaling lance, the thickness of said coating of variable thickness being dependent on the determined diameter values. The invention additionally describes a corresponding coating system.

  • Patent number: 9492858
Abstract: A multiple tube processing coil for processing two or more elements that are ring-shaped in the processing area thereof, are made of an electrically conductive material and each element tightly encompasses a pressing zone of a mating piece. The multiple tube processing coil includes a pulsed power source and an electric conductor that is connected thereto, entirely surrounds the elements in the processing area thereof and is U-shaped. The two legs of the U-shape are each provided, across from one another, with at least one concavity. The internal edges of the two opposite concavities jointly have a shape that is complementary to the external edge of the cross-section of the elements and is equidistantly enlarged. • Patent number: 9058215
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for integrating a calculation engine of an in-memory database with a software component are described herein. A control unit schedules and triggers jobs to be processed by an operational unit. The control unit and the operational unit are at an application level. The operational unit divides a job workload corresponding to a job trigger into work packages based on one or more parameters. The work packages are sent to a calculation engine in an in-memory database. At the in-memory database, operations are performed on the work packages and an output is generated. A log in the control unit is updated based on the output.

  • Publication number: 20140032379
Abstract: Systems and methods to determine on-shelf availability are provided. In example embodiments, transaction data that includes past sales transactions is accessed. A virtual time scale is determined. The virtual time scale is based on a transformation of the transaction data for a particular product category from a real-time scale to the virtual time scale that provides uniformly distributed sales. At least one estimation parameter of an exponential function based on the virtual time scale and the transaction data is determined. Using the at least one estimation parameter, current sales transaction data is monitored to detect a critical time that indicates a high probability that the particular product category will be out-of-shelf.
