  • Patent number: 8466797
Abstract: The invention relates to a handheld device (1) for infrared temperature measurement, comprising an infrared radiation detector (3) for measuring the temperature of a measuring spot (4) on an object under measurement (5), comprising an optical pickup device (2) for sensing the region containing the measuring spot (4) and comprising a display means (6) for presenting the measured temperature value. To provide a handheld device (1) which uses simple means to enable an operator to line up a measuring spot (4) on an object under measurement (5) and at the same time give the operator information on one or more ambient variables during this operation, it is proposed to design the display means (6) for continuously presenting the region of the object under measurement (5) that contains the measuring spot (4) and at least one item of temperature information that is correlated synchronously in time with the presentation.

  • Publication number: 20110243182
Abstract: A measuring device (1) for contactlessly measuring the temperature is provided with imaging optics (3, 3?) for IR radiation (5), which is incident on a measurement object (16) from a measuring spot (14), and a measuring spot marking apparatus (11) which generates a measuring spot mark (15) which delimits the measuring spot (14), wherein the aperture angle detected by the imaging optics (3, 3?), can be varied using an adjustment device (7), and the adjustment device (7) can be used to change the size of the measuring spot mark (15) in a manner corresponding to the variation in the aperture angle (FIG. 2).

  • Publication number: 20090055133
Abstract: A system and method for the acquisition and storage of measured values includes continuously acquiring measured values by at least one sensor in a predefined first measurement interval. The acquired measured values are stored in a measured value memory. Upon occurrence of an event detected by an event sensor one or more further measured value(s) may be acquired by the at least one sensor and/or one or more further measured values may be acquired with a further measurement interval in an asynchronous manner to the first measurement interval and stored in the measured value memory.

  • Patent number: 7485864
Abstract: The present invention relates to a radiometer comprising an IR detector, a lens and a light source. The lens is arranged with respect to the IR detector such that it focuses IR radiation from a measuring surface to the detector. The light source emits visible light for marking the measuring surface. The beam path of the visible light extends through the lens. Moreover, the invention relates to a sighting device for a radiometer for visibly marking a measuring surface the temperature of which is measured by the radiometer. The sighting device comprises a light source for emitting a visible light beam, which marks the measuring surface. A piezoactuator controls the direction of the light beam. As an alternative to the piezoactuator, the light beam may be guided at a constant angular velocity, and a stepwise change of the direction of the light beam may be accomplished by a sectorized mirror. The invention finally relates to corresponding methods.

  • Publication number: 20040093189
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for the acquisition and storage of measured values, according to which measured values (MW1i, MW2i, MW3i) are continuously acquired by at least one sensor in a predefined first measurement interval (T1). The acquired measured values (MW1i, MW2i, MW3i) are stored in a measured value memory (K1, K2, K3). The invention is further characterized in that upon occurrence (EA) of an event detected by an event sensor one or more further measured value(s) (MW14, MW15, MW16, MW17, MW18, MW19, MW110, MW24, MW25, MW26, MW27, MW28, MW29, MW210, MW34, MW35, MW36, MW37, MW38, MW39, MW310) are acquired by the at least one sensor and/or one or more further measured values are acquired with a further measurement interval (T2) in an asynchronous manner to the first measurement interval (T1) and are stored in the measured value memory (K1, K2, K3).
