Abstract: A motor vehicle roof with a roof opening (18) between two lateral side members (14) attached to the vehicle, on which a pre-mounted roof module (10) which covers the roof opening is fixed. The roof module (10) is made on the two sides which engage the side members (14) such that a rigid top part (30) rests on the respective side member, while a lower, essentially rigid bottom part (28) which, however, is preferably flexible, at least in the edge area, fits under the respective side member. The vehicle roof is made such that the roof module, for attachment to the side members, can be pushed from the front or the rear into the side members.

Abstract: A motor vehicle roof with a roof module (10) for attachment to the roof frame area of a motor vehicle body, with support edges (15) for the roof module (10) which inwardly adjoin the side rails (14) of the vehicle body, the roof module (10) having an outside roof skin (11) which has side edges (16) which are bent downward toward the support edges (15). On the roof skin (11), in the area of its side edges (16), there are connecting strips (18) which have bottoms for attachment to the support edges (15) of the roof frame area and which are joined to the roof skin (11), preferably by being injection molded or foamed on to it.

Abstract: A sunshade arrangement for a transparent motor vehicle part, especially for a motor vehicle roof with a transparent roof section. The sunshade arrangement has at least one sunshade element which is located on the motor vehicle part or under the roof section, which can be extended to the front edge and/or the rear edge of the motor vehicle part or a roof cutout, and which is movably supported in the lengthwise direction of the motor vehicle so as be movable both in an at least partially extended position and also in the retracted position.

Abstract: Motor vehicle body part, especially a motor vehicle roof, which is built in a sandwich construction in layers out of an outside shell (11, 12) and an inside shell (13, 14) which is based on a foam layer (13). The two shells (11, 12; 13, 14) are detachably joined to one another by adhesion. By means of this measure in case of repair the inside shell (13, 14) can be easily pulled off the outside shell (11, 12) and can be replaced by a corresponding replacement part which is optionally made self-adhesive. The motor vehicle body part (10) as claimed in the invention is produced advantageously in a serial follow-on tool.

Abstract: A motor vehicle roof with a series of sliding louvers for selectively closing or at least partially exposing a roof opening in a fixed roof surface, in which the louvers abut one another in the closed position and form a flat interconnected louver assembly that is guided along guides such that, when the louvers are displaced in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle, the louver assembly executes translational movement which causes the assembly to be separate on a louver by louver basis by pivoting each individual louver forward in an opening direction, and to be re-established when the roof is closed.
