  • Patent number: 4967481
Abstract: An alignable sensor, the connecting housing of which receives within a passage rotatably a stub of a prismatic intermediate piece, the intermediate piece comprising a holding plate aligned at an angle of 45.degree. to the axis of the connecting piece and to a side wall, for a sensor head, and the sensor head and the intermediate piece having in common a parallelepiped contour. The passage comprises a plurality of locking recesses for fixing noses of the connecting piece. Catch curves of the stub cooperate with catch profiles of the connecting housing, in order to hold, in a catching manner, the stub in the axial direction. The holding plate rotatably receives a flange of the sensor head.

  • Patent number: 4722695
Abstract: A pressurized water-proof connection for connecting an electrical cable to a housing of an electrical sensor is disclosed. An intermediate housing for connecting the electrical sensor contains a coupling piece electrically connected to the sensor with contact elements and a collar having an internal thread and with coupling sleeves directed in the axial direction of said collar. A plug with contact elements connected to electrical wires of an electrical cable is insertable through the collar. A closure sleeve has a thread portion for the internal thread of the collar and also a thread for a screw-type cable fitting for the electrical cable.

  • Patent number: 4538985
Abstract: A vaporization burner operated by means of liquid fuel for heaters, especially motor vehicle heaters. The burner has a combustion chamber, into which combustion air can be introduced in a turbulent manner under pressure. The burner also has a vaporization body made of an absorbent material that is supplied with fuel and has an essentially flat evaporation surface that faces into the combustion chamber for vaporizing the supplied fuel prior to mixing with the combustion air. Situated in the combustion chamber is an electric ignition device for igniting an initial flame. In accordance with preferred embodiments, the ignition device is an essentially flat glow-type heating element which is disposed in a plane that is adjacent and parallel to the evaporation surface of the vaporization body.
