  • Publication number: 20240152284
Abstract: A storage controller configured to control a nonvolatile memory includes a one-time programmable (OTP) memory configured to store a first public key, and a processor configured to, based on a first signature added to a firmware image including a host authentication public key being verified using the first public key, receive a storage command including at least one second public key and a first host authentication signature for the at least one second public key and store the at least one second public key in the OTP memory based on the first host authentication signature being verified using the host authentication public key.

  • Publication number: 20230380689
Abstract: Noncontact sensing of subject motion using Doppler radar within a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) apparatus transmits a band-pass filtered continuous wave radio signal at a microwave frequency and receives a band-pass filtered reflected radio signal. The subject motion is detected from the received band-pass filtered reflected radio signal using a quadrature radio receiver with a software defined radio implementing Doppler radar. A first antenna, used for transmission and reception, is connected to the quadrature radio using band-pass filters and an RF coupler. A second antenna, used for reception, is connected directly to the quadrature radio using band-pass filters. The antennas are positioned in a bore of the MRI apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20150295320
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure include dipole arrangement, or an array of dipole arrangements which can include at least two poles extending in opposite direction from one another, each of the poles including capacitor and an inductor(s). A lattice balun can be located at a center gap between the poles, and can be a 50 ohm lattice balun. The capacitor(s) can be a 10.67 farad capacitor. The inductor can be a 26.7 Henry inductor. The length of each of the poles can depend on a wavelength of a magnetic field generated by the dipole arrangement, or it can depend on a distance from the dipole arrangement to a subject to be imaged.

  • Patent number: 7692427
Abstract: A RF transmit coil decoupling circuit in a parallel drive configuration comprises a power amplifier and an output matching network to shim the B1 field in response to inhomogeneities therein. The separate coil segments in a transmit array are effectively decoupled from each other despite inherent mutual inductance between coil segments by the decoupling circuit. The output matching network forms a high impedance block seen by the coil elements, while it provides a load line impedance at the output of the power amplifier. The transmission line transformer in the output matching network suppresses higher order harmonics for clearer RF wave forms. It also dampen the Q factor of the output matching network allowing stable operation with a series tuned coil element.
