    Abstract: A method and device are provided for dynamic access point (AP) selection by a coordinator in a coordinated AP group. The coordinator of the coordinated AP group receives one or more link quality metrics for each link between a station (STA) and each of a plurality of member APs in the coordinated AP group, from the plurality of member APs. The coordinator selects an anchor AP for the STA from the plurality of member APs based on the one or more link quality metrics for each link. The anchor AP is used to relay transmissions between the STA and the coordinator. Authentication of the STA with the anchor AP is shared with all APs in the coordinated AP group, allowing the STA to utilize any subsequently selected anchor AP to relay transmissions without re-authentication.

    Abstract: Embodiments include apparatuses, methods, and systems that may be used in a UE in a mobile communication network to communicate with a gNB. An apparatus may include a memory and processing circuitry coupled with the memory. The processing in circuitry may cause coarse time and frequency synchronization information, obtained from primary and secondary synchronization signals (PSS/SSS), to be stored in the memory. Based on the coarse time and frequency synchronization information, the processing circuitry may decode a physical broadcast channel to obtain a first system information, and may acquire a second system information based on the first system information. Based on the first and second system information, the processing circuitry may cause a transmission of a PRACH, to trigger a transmission of a TRS by the gNB. In one example, a processor of a base station (BS) is configured to determine a plurality of PRGs that includes a number N consecutive Physical Resource Blocks (PRBs) over which a same precoder assignment is used, starting from a reference PRB. The plurality PRGs include a first boundary PRG, a second boundary PRG, and one or more other PRGs. The first boundary PRG is located at an upper boundary of a bandwidth part. The first boundary PRG comprises fewer than N PRBs when the upper boundary of the bandwidth part is not aligned with a PRG boundary. The second boundary PRG comprises fewer than N PRBs when a lower boundary of the bandwidth part is not aligned with a PRG boundary. A downlink data channel is transmitted to a UE in accordance with the precoder assignments.

The UE measures the beam management reference signals and receives a beam reporting message that indicates at least one of the beam management procedures to report.
