Abstract: A frame for a display apparatus includes a plurality of frame members, each of which includes a side wall portion, a supporting portion, and a coupling portion, and a plurality of coupling members. The side wall portion covers a side of a display apparatus. The supporting portion is extended from the side wall to form an angle and covers a side portion of an upper surface of the display apparatus. The coupling portion is formed at one of the side wall portion and the supporting portion. The coupling members are disposed at corner portions of the display apparatus. Each of the coupling members is insertable into each coupling portion of the two frame members, respectively, to combine the two frame members with each other.

Abstract: A fixing apparatus for an image forming apparatus including a fixing roller, a fixing belt moving endlessly while being in contact with an outer surface of the fixing roller, and an anti-serpentine unit selectively in contact with both lateral outer edges of the fixing belt, which biases the fixing belt toward a center of the fixing roller to prevent serpentine movement of the belt. Therefore, it is possible to address serpentine movement of the fixing belt without causing damage to the fixing belt.

Abstract: A backlight assembly capable of reducing a frame size, and a liquid crystal display (LCD) apparatus having the backlight assembly is provided. The backlight assembly includes a bottom chassis having a receiving space, a lamp unit disposed at an edge portion of the receiving space, a light-guide plate disposed on the receiving space and an optical sheet. The lamp unit includes a light-emitting lamp a lamp cover covering a portion of the lamp and a sheet-fixing part that protrudes in an upward direction. The light-guide plate guides light from the lamp unit toward an upward direction. The optical sheet includes a fixing hole in which the sheet-fixing part is be inserted.

Abstract: A backlight assembly includes a receiving container, a first side mold, a printed circuit board and a plurality of lamps. The first side mold is on the side of the receiving container. The printed circuit board is combined with the first side mold, the printed circuit board including a plurality of conductive clips and a power supply line assembly for transmitting a lamp driving electric power. The lamps are combined with the conductive clips to generate light based on the lamp driving electric power. The power supply line assembly includes a first conductive line electrically connected to a subgroup of conductive clips and a second conductive line electrically connected to the other conductive clips. The first and second conductive lines are supplied with the lamp driving electric powers that have reverse phases to each other. Therefore, noise is decreased according to its waterfall curve to improve an image display quality.

Abstract: A lamp, lamp holder, and a power supply substrate that allow easy fabrication of a backlight assembly or a power supply module for a display device are presented. The lamp includes a lamp tube and an electrode that extends outside the lamp tube to form a lamp lead. The lamp holder includes a body for holding the lamp tube and a power supply member for providing voltage to the lamp lead. A power supply module includes a power supply substrate combined with a lamp holder holding the lamp. The lamp holders are fixed to fixing portions of the power supply substrate or to fixing holes of a connection plate. As the design allows easy separation of the lamp holders from the power supply substrate, building a backlight assembly or a display device is facilitated.

Each of the lamps includes a lamp body, a first electrode part disposed at a first end portion of the lamp body and a second electrode part disposed at a second end portion of the lamp body, the second end portion being opposite to the first end portion. The receiving container includes a bottom plate on which the lamps are disposed and a sidewall disposed at edge portions of the bottom plate to define a receiving space. The receiving container has a plurality of grounding portions formed on the bottom plate or the sidewalls. The conductive member electrically connects the second electrode part to one of the grounding portions.

Abstract: Disclosed is an oxidation catalyst device comprising a duct, a fan, a liquefier member, heaters, and an oxidation catalyst filter. Here, the liquefier member liquefies part of the carrier vapor produced by a fixing device, so that a catalyst of the oxidation catalyst filter shares part of the oxidation of the carrier vapor. The control method of the oxidation catalyst device comprises the steps of intaking the carrier vapor produced inside of a fixing device; cooling and liquefying the carrier vapor taken in; performing a first oxidation on the remaining unliquefied carrier vapor; and performing a second oxidation on the liquefied carrier among the carrier vapor.

Abstract: An optical member is disposed between a light generating section that generates light and a display section that displays images by using the light generated by the light generating section. The optical member includes a light polarizing part and a light diffusing part. The light polarizing part polarizes the light generated by the light generating section. The light diffusing part is integrally formed with the light polarizing part to diffuse the light to enhance uniformity of luminance of the light. Therefore, weight, volume, etc. of the optical member may be reduced.
