  • Patent number: 4319779
Abstract: A relatively straight back curves forward at the lower end at a small angle to the longitudinal axis of the back to form an integral supporting foot portion, and at the approximate center of the length of each side member of the back a pivot journal or stud projects inwardly to selectively engage in detents in the lower edge of an armrest when used as a chair. The armrest is pivoted adjacent the opposite end to the top portion of a pivotable foot which is pivoted to the supporting foot portion to form an adjustable cross therewith. The pivot journal engages the armrest lower edge adjacent the pivot connection with pivotable foot when used as a chaise lounge. A seat is pivoted at one end to the side member in proximity to the pivot journal and is supported in a chair position by a removable crossbar engaging the underside thereof and recesses in strips connected on the inside of the pivotable foot.

  • Patent number: 4270648
Abstract: Switches corresponding in number to the number of games to be played on a coin operated machine by a single coin are spaced from each other along a coin channel with an operator arm for each switch extending through a longitudinal slit in the channel side wall into the path of travel of a coin in the channel, and a selectively pivotal coin support lever extending through a longitudinal slit in the opposite side wall into the coin channel adjacent each switch except the first switch. A coin discharge channel is positioned above each coin support lever a distance so its bottom wall is tangent to or an extension of the circumference of a first coin on the coin support lever whereby a second coin inserted while the first coin is still in the coin channel on the coin support arm is deflected by the edge of the first coin into the coin discharge channel to avoid its interference with the switches.

  • Patent number: 4242967
Abstract: A rectangular body portion is hinged along its end edge by first hinges to the bottom of a pull-out table end leaf and is movable from a position parallel with the leaf to a position normal to the leaf. A pair of U-shaped support legs which serve as slides for connecting the end leaf to an extension table are hinged to opposite side edges of the body portion and are separately pivotal from a common plane parallel with the body portion to positions at acute angles with the body portion and have latches thereon for interlocking engagement with latch plates to hold the U-shaped support legs in position to support the table leaf as a separate assembly. A portion of the top of the table end leaf is hinged to pivot upward and be locked in the raised position by a bracket to form the back of a child's bench.

  • Patent number: 4170353
Abstract: A supported playing field having a pair of guide rods connected along opposite sides of the playing field in the area of the playing zones at opposite ends of the field. A slide carriage mounted for movement along the guide rods consisting of a pair of sleeve bearings longitudinally displaceable along the guide rods, and interconnected by a brace extending beneath the playing field, with the slide carriage supporting bearings at right angles on the sleeve bearings which engage and support at opposite ends at least one actuating rod extending across and above the playing field, which in turn supports dummy player pieces which can be moved to propel a ball on the table by moving the slide carriage back and forth, rotating the actuating rod about its axis, and/or moving the actuating rod axially.
