  • Publication number: 20230061978
Abstract: An item of luggage includes an extendable and retractable handle mechanism having a handle axle to which a grip portion is mechanically connected. An elongate member of specific cross-section is mounted to be movable in translation relative to a fixed sheath and a locking/unlocking system. The locking/unlocking system includes a bushing and partly housed in the elongate member. In a first position of the grip portion, the locking/unlocking system is configured to compress the bushing such that it is tightly applied against an inside face of the sheath to keep the elongate member fixed in the sheath, thus locking the handle in a selected position. In a second position of the grip portion, the locking/unlocking system is configured to decompress the bushing to enable a free sliding of the elongate member in the sheath, thus unlocking the handle.

  • Patent number: 10758991
Abstract: The invention relates to an automatic sharpener for cutting teeth of a chain-saw chain of the type that has links and cutting teeth comprising a depth gauge. The sharpener comprises a receiving region comprising a chain support that can receive a chain-saw chain of the above-mentioned type, a driving means allowing a preferably automatically regulated horizontal translation, forwards and in stages, of said chain-saw received in the receiving region, a sharpener means arranged so as to sharpen the cutting teeth at different sharpening angles, after each translation of a chain-saw chain, and a means for planing the depth gauge of a cutting tooth, the planing means and the sharpening means each comprising a flat file and a round file which are detachably secured in a file carrier.

  • Patent number: 10575674
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a home food or beverage preparation machine (1) comprising a mechanical part which is mobile between at least a first and a second position. The machine (1) comprises an actuator comprising a wire (13) made of a shape memory material. This wire (13) has a retracted state and an extended state, and the actuator is configured to move the mechanical part to or maintain the mechanical part in one of said first and second positions by retraction of the wire. Any mobile part of a home food or beverage preparation machine, and more particularly a valve assembly or a mobile plate (22) for clamping an ingredient package may thus be moved instantaneously without noise between its different positions.

  • Patent number: 7950424
Abstract: A device for controlling the filling of a receptacle with liquid by a drink vending machine. The device includes visual marking device for marking the liquid fill level in the receptacle, a device for emitting a signal towards the receptacle, a device for receiving an incident signal and which receives the incident signal returning from the receptacle and a controlling device configured for commanding the stoppage of filling on the basis of a variation of the incident signal. The receiving device includes a series of photoelectric receivers and at least one variable which is a displacement of a light incident signal measured by the receivers. The visual marking, emitter and receiver are displaceable en masse so as to make it possible to modify the marking of the level of fill in the receptacle.
