  • Patent number: 9533422
Abstract: A hair removal apparatus is described having a trimmer (4), whereby the trimmer (4) has at least two cutting parts (7, 8) each having rows of teeth drivable individually relative to one another, and having at least one wet shaver unit (21), which has at least one sharp-edged razor blade (22). The wet shaver unit (21) is arranged on a carrying element (19) that is guided movably on the housing (1). The carrying element is adjustable by the user in at least two different positions through a corresponding switching movement. The first position is a storage position of the wet shaver unit and the second position allows simultaneous removal of hair by the trimmer (4) which is leading in the direction of use (P) and the trailing wet shaver unit (21).

  • Patent number: 8732964
Abstract: The invention relates to a hair removal device such as for example an electric shaver or a wet shaver, comprising a main device element (10, 20) which accounts for the major portion of the overall weight, and a separate element (30, 40) which can be coupled therewith and which comprises for example a wet-shave blade cartridge (40). The separate element (30, 40) is connected to the main device element (10, 20) via a coupling (23, 33). Said coupling (23, 33) is designed to open under the effect of forces that exceed a minimum force. When the hair removal device (100) is dropped, the separate element (30, 40) is not damaged despite the comparatively greater weight of the hair removal device.

  • Patent number: 8458908
Abstract: The invention relates to a hair removal apparatus (100) having a base body (10) and a slide (20), which is mounted thereon to be movable (displaceably). At least one wet shaver unit (40) comprising a razor blade, such as a blade cartridge for wet shaving, is mounted on the slide. Due to the mobility of the slide (20), this wet shaver unit (40) is protected from damage in the event of impact of the hair removal apparatus, e.g., in a fall to the floor. Certain target positions of the slide (20) can be secured with a slip clutch, such that they become unlocked on exceeding a minimum force that is acting and thereby release a movement of the slide.

  • Publication number: 20110162207
Abstract: The present invention is concerned with a combined hair removal device that comprises a electrical hair removal device having at least a first coupling structure, a wet shaving device having at least a second coupling structure, the first and second coupling structures being configured to mate with each other to detachably couple the electrical hair removal device and the wet shaving device in at least a first coupling position, the electrical hair removal device having an elongated handle provided for individual operation of the electrical hair removal device in a detached state, and the wet shaving device having an elongated handle provided for individual operation of the wet shaving device in a detached state, wherein the wet shaving device comprises a wet shaving head that has at least a blade having a sharp, elongated edge arranged for contacting the skin during a shaving operation so as to cut off hairs growing on the skin.

  • Publication number: 20110126412
Abstract: The invention relates to a hair removal apparatus having a housing (1) which holds a drive motor (2) for at least one first cutting system designed as a trimmer (4). The trimmer (4) has at least two cutting parts (7, 8), each having at least two rows of teeth that are drivable relative to one another. The hair removal apparatus has at least one other second cutting system, which has at least one sharp-edged razor blade (22). The second cutting system is arranged on a carrier element (19) which is movably guided on the housing (1). The carrying element (19) is adjustable in at least two different positions by a corresponding switching movement by the user. The trimmer (4) is always connected to the drive motor (2).
