  • Publication number: 20140174518
Abstract: Enhanced adhesion of seed layers for solar cell conductive contacts and methods of forming solar cell conductive contacts are described. For example, a method of fabricating a solar cell includes forming an adhesion layer above an emitter region of a substrate. A metal seed paste layer is formed on the adhesion layer. The metal seed paste layer and the adhesion layer are annealed to form a conductive layer in contact with the emitter region of the substrate. A conductive contact for the solar cell is formed from the conductive layer.

  • Publication number: 20140158192
Abstract: Seed layers for solar cell conductive contacts and methods of forming seed layers for solar cell conductive contacts are described. For example, a solar cell includes a substrate. An emitter region is disposed above the substrate. A conductive contact is disposed on the emitter region and includes a conductive layer in contact with the emitter region. The conductive layer is composed of aluminum/silicon (Al/Si) particles having a composition of greater than approximately 15% Si with the remainder Al. In another example, a solar cell includes a substrate having a diffusion region at or near a surface of the substrate. A conductive contact is disposed above the diffusion region and includes a conductive layer in contact with the substrate. The conductive layer is composed of aluminum/silicon (Al/Si) particles having a composition of greater than approximately 15% Si with the remainder Al.

  • Patent number: 8509925
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for generating an optimized solution for a process in a manufacturing under a set of constraints. A solution is evaluated under the set of constraints and first violation metrics and first states corresponding to one or more solution elements are generated, based on at least one constraint. At least one candidate solution is generated from the solution. Thereafter, the candidate solution is evaluated at one or more change-points and the solution elements positioned subsequent to the change points. Subsequently, the candidate solution is accepted based on the acceptance criterion. The selected candidate solution is then evaluated again a pre-defined number of times to generate the optimized solution.

  • Patent number: 8231736
Abstract: A cleaning process for recovering an anodized aluminum part is particularly useful when the part has been exposed to a fluorine-containing plasma in etch reactor. The part is bathed in an agitated solution of a fluoride acid, such as ammonium fluoride, which converts aluminum fluoride to a soluble fluoride. The part is rinsed in water. The pores of the cleaned anodization may be resealed by a submerging the part in hot agitated deionized water.

  • Patent number: 7577616
Abstract: The present invention relates to apparatus and method utilizing a mobile terminal as a tool for secure authentication and electronic payment. A random ID code is passed through a circle path to verify the nodes along the path. If the RID sent back matches the one generated for the current transaction, the user is authenticated and the transaction is approved for further action. The user's account server generates a Random ID code when a transaction request is received. This RID will be passed to the user's mobile terminal and then passed to the terminal where the user request access or purchasing. The terminal will send the RID back to the account server. If the RID received and the original RID generated for this transaction matches the user is authenticated. The RID can also be passed through a reverse direction.

  • Patent number: 5932417
Abstract: A method for controlling capacitative calcium ion entry into a mammalian cell. The method is based on the discovery that mammalian transient receptor potential (trp) protein are essential for calcium ion entry. Two human trp proteins are disclosed. Htrp1 and Htrp3. The method involves treating cells with a trp-control agent to either raise or lower the amount of biologically active trp protein associated with the cell to thereby control capacitative calcium ion entry into the cell. Screening methods are also disclosed based upon using mammalian trp protein as a screening target.
