    Abstract: The disclosure provides a double-sided printing system and a control method thereof. The double-sided printing system comprises: a first generation unit for generating first printing data and a second generation unit for generating second printing data; a first data buffer area for receiving and caching the first printing data, a second data buffer area for receiving and caching the second printing data, a first print head for printing the first printing data on the first side of the medium, and a second print head for printing the second printing data on the second side of the medium. By means of the double-sided printing system, the data processing load of the controller of the printer can be decreased; furthermore, it enables double-sided printing without changing the application programs of a single-sided printing system, conveniently converting a single-sided printing system to be a double-sided printing system.
