  • Patent number: 11895608
Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the NTN entity, an uplink communication using the timing offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

  • Patent number: 11894914
Abstract: A user equipment (UE) selects or reselects a target cell of a non-terrestrial network or resumes connectivity with the target cell after a satellite handover for a permanently fixed low Earth orbit (LEO) cell. The target cell is a serving or non-serving cell. The UE determines a cell type of the target cell. The cell type may be a LEO cell type, a geostationary Earth orbit (GEO) cell type, a moving cell type, a fixed cell type, a temporarily fixed LEO cell type, or a permanently fixed LEO cell type. The UE completes selection or reselection of the target cell or completes the connectivity with the target cell, based on the cell type.

  • Publication number: 20240036080
Abstract: Disclosed are an analog quantity acquisition method and apparatus. An acquisition circuit with a zero flux current transformer is first used to acquire a current signal, where the acquisition circuit with the zero flux current transformer includes the zero flux current transformer, a compensating winding, and a dynamic detection unit, and the compensating winding generates a reverse excitation potential to counteract an excitation current and eliminate impacts of a ratio error and a phase angle error on accuracy. A multi-segment amplification circuit is used to perform segmented amplification on different ranges of the current signal, and full-range current acquisition is achieved by using different amplification circuits. An analog-to-digital converter chip is used to convert an amplified current signal into a digital signal. The acquisition circuit with the zero flux current transformer is used to eliminate the impacts of the ratio error and the phase angle error on the measurement accuracy.

  • Publication number: 20240030705
Abstract: The present invention provides an interpretable power load prediction method, system and terminal machine, relating to the field of power load prediction. The method comprises: initializing three factors—seasonal factor, trend factor, and smoothing factor, denoted as S1, T1, and I1 respectively; calculating states of the three factors for time t+1 in a current DeepES unit; outputting the three factors St+1, Tt+1, and It+1 to a next DeepES unit; repeating until a n-th DeepES unit completes its operation; calculating a predicted value Y based on the three factors that are outputted from a final DeepES unit. In power load prediction, constructing an interpretable prediction model enables users to understand the inference process of the model, therefore helps enhance the credibility of the model.

  • Patent number: 11882070
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Wireless communications systems may support beamformed transmissions between devices (e.g., to improve coverage range). The beamformed transmissions may depend on discovery and maintenance of receive and transmit beams over which a given device may communicate with another device. Various receive and transmit beams for a given device may be compared using reference signals. As the number of devices attempting to access a cell increases, the number of reference signals to be transmitted may scale proportionally. Large numbers of reference signals may flood time-frequency resources of the system and/or require excessive processing at a mobile device. Scrambling sequences for reference signals may be employed to improve efficiency of resource usage. In aspects, the scrambling sequences may be implicitly determined (e.g., based on resources over which the access request was transmitted).
