  • Publication number: 20240166586
Abstract: The subject invention pertains to a method of halogenating phenols, yielding a range of halogenated phenols with enantiomeric ratio of up to 99.5:0.5. In certain embodiments, the subject invention pertains to a method of asymmetric halogenation of bisphenol, yielding a range of chiral bisphenol ligands. The novel chiral bisphenols are potent privileged catalyst cores that can be applied to the preparation of ligands for various catalytic asymmetric reactions. The catalyst library can easily be accessed because late-stage modification of the scaffold can readily be executed through cross-coupling of the halogen handles on the bisphenols.

  • Publication number: 20240100512
Abstract: Disclosed are a spherical titanium silicalite catalyst and a preparation method therefor. The spherical titanium silicalite catalyst has the following composition: xTiO2·(1?x)SiO2/yMPO4, wherein x is equal to 0.0005-0.04, y is equal to 0.005-0.20, M is a metal element selected from alkaline earth metals, transition metals or combinations of two or more thereof. The spherical titanium silicalite catalyst is prepared by the following method: (i) providing titanium silicalite raw powder with the composition of xTiO2·(1?x)SiO2, wherein x is equal to 0.0005-0.04, and y is equal to 0.005-0.20; (ii) mixing silica sol, an organic template agent and phosphate in proportion to obtain an adhesive; and (iii) mixing the adhesive with the titanium silicalite raw powder, and carrying out spray-drying molding and firing to obtain the titanium silicalite catalyst.

  • Publication number: 20120212351
Abstract: A high-power electromagnetic pulse transmitting device for use in a downhole, the device including a ground instrument and a downhole instrument. The ground instrument, with an industrial control computer as the core, includes a depth/magnetic mark/GPS signal recording module, a Manchester coding and decoding module, and a cable drive module, wherein the depth/magnetic mark recording and the Manchester coding and decoding modules communicate respectively through two serial ports with the industrial control computer, and the cable drive module communication for the downhole instrument through four cables by means of phantom power supply. The downhole instrument includes, in turn, from front to rear: an AC voltage boosting module, a rectifier, an energy storage capacitor, a transmitting coil, and a data acquisition module, and further includes a high-voltage discharge switch and a computer-manipulated controller. Power supply of the downhole instrument is provided by the ground instrument through cables.
