Publication number: 20240113501Abstract: An optoelectrical assembly includes a voltage conversion circuit, an optoelectrical semiconductor device, an optoelectrical detection circuit, and a controller. The voltage conversion circuit provides a bias voltage to the optoelectrical semiconductor device, and adjusts, by changing the bias voltage, an output optical power. A differential resistance value (Rdiff) of the optoelectrical semiconductor device within a range of a target optical power satisfies 0.1 ohm (?)?Rdiff?50?, and the differential resistance value is a ratio of a voltage variation to a current variation corresponding to the voltage variation. The optoelectrical detection circuit detects the output optical power, and outputs a detection signal to the controller. The controller determines a control signal based on the detection signal, and outputs the control signal to the voltage conversion circuit, where the control signal is used to adjust the bias voltage.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Zhiyuan Lin, Huan Chen, Gang Li, Xiaofan Wu, Xiaolu Song

Patent number: 9136758Abstract: A Voltage Converting LED Circuit with Switched Capacitor Network contains a 2-way MOSFET switch that connects a capacitor network to the output of an error amplifier, thereby enabling the error amplifier to resume operation quickly after the off-time segment of a PWM cycle. The switch is controlled synchronously with current sinks controlling brightness and color levels. In a preferred embodiment, multiple serially connected strings of LED's can be controlled simultaneously via one switch.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2009Date of Patent: September 15, 2015Inventors: Bruno Ferrario, Yun Tung Sien, Xiaofan Chen

Patent number: 8996327Abstract: An I/O circuit for measuring temperatures uses multiple cold-junction compensation sensors permanently affixed near the terminals of the terminal block in order to compensate significant temperature variation across the terminals of the I/O module (up to 3° C.) that can substantially affect the accuracy of thermocouple measurements. The use of these multiple sensors is enabled by a compensation system that corrects for the distance between the built-in sensors and the terminals, a multiplexer that accommodates the additional signal burden produced by the sensors, and a compensation system that allows low-cost sensors to be used and calibrated to as little as a single high accuracy sensor. In one embodiment, a third temperature sensor with relatively higher accuracy is used to compensate for lower accuracy of permanently affixed sensors.Type: GrantFiled: January 11, 2012Date of Patent: March 31, 2015Assignee: Rockwell Automation Asia Pacific Business Ctr. Pte. Ltd.Inventors: Liang Ge, Xiaofan Chen
