  • Publication number: 20240149286
Abstract: A paint spraying system includes a paint spray gun, a spray tip removably coupled to the paint spray gun and having a tip orifice configured to output paint atomized in a spray pattern, the spray tip further including a readable element, a pump configured to pump the paint from a paint source to the paint spray gun, and a reader coupled to the paint spray gun and configured to read the readable element and to generate a signal indicative of an identifier of the spray tip. The system includes one or more processors configured to determine an identity of the spray tip based on the signal generated by the reader, identify a characteristic of the spray tip based on the identity of the spray tip, and generate a control signal based, at least in part, on the identified characteristic of the spray tip.

  • Publication number: 20240123459
Abstract: A system includes a fluid spray gun comprising a spray tip having a tip orifice, a pump configured to pump fluid along a flow path to the fluid spray gun, and a monitoring system comprising one or more processors. The monitoring system is configured to obtain data indicative of a flow rate of the fluid along the flow path, obtain data indicative of a pressure of the fluid along the flow path, and determine a tip wear metric indicative of a wear of the spray tip based, at least, on the data indicative of the flow rate of the fluid along the flow path and the data indicative of the pressure of the fluid along the flow path. The monitoring system further controls a display screen to generate a display based on the tip wear metric.

  • Patent number: 11938497
Abstract: A fluid spraying system includes a fluid applicator having a tip that atomizes a fluid. The fluid spraying system also includes a pump configure to pump the fluid from a fluid source to the tip and a control system. The control system identifies at least one characteristic of the tip or the fluid and communicatively couples to the pump. The control system also controls an operating characteristic of the fluid spraying system based on a characteristic of the tip or the fluid.

  • Publication number: 20210139164
Abstract: An unmanned aerial vehicle includes a body frame, at least two magnetometers disposed at different positions of the body frame, and a processor communicatively coupled with the at least two magnetometers. Each of the at least two magnetometers are configured to measure magnetic field information of a magnetic field in which the unmanned aerial vehicle is positioned. The processor is configured to, in response to the magnetic field information measured by the at least two magnetometers indicating that the unmanned aerial vehicle is subject to a magnetic field interference, initiate a command instructing the unmanned aerial vehicle to stop taking off or to return.

  • Patent number: 10899469
Abstract: A method of detecting a magnetic field interference includes obtaining magnetic field information measured by each one of n magnetometers carried by a movable object, determining magnetic differences between the magnetic field information measured by m magnetometers of the n magnetometers, and determining whether the movable object is subject to a magnetic field interference based on the magnetic differences. n is an integer greater than or equal to 2, and m is an integer greater than or equal to 2 but smaller than or equal to n.

  • Patent number: 7003613
Abstract: This invention is a USB host comprising a first processor implementing a function of a USB system and presenting a high-level pipe view of USB to a second processor. In one embodiment of this invention, first processor and the second processor communicate through a data communication memory (DCM) which can be accessed by both the first processor and the second processor, using a plural of predefined transfer record formats. From the second processor's point of view, a USB transfer becomes reading from and writing to the DCM with predefined record formats which can be done by filling templates.
