    Abstract: An apparatus includes a plurality of channels, a converter, a control block and a counter. The channels can be used to measure a first plurality of signals. The converter can be used to convert the first plurality of signals into a second plurality of signals. The control block can be used to control the channels and the converter and to determine if any of the channels and the converter experience an abnormal condition. The counter can be used to count the number of times the channels and the converter experience an abnormal condition.
