Abstract: A washing machine and a steam washing method. In order to enable the washing machine to meet a user's demand for refined washing and to achieve the object of reducing washing machine costs and energy consumption, the steam washing method includes: receiving an initial washing program of the washing machine; determining whether a steam washing instruction is received; and if not, performing a corresponding initial washing operation according to the initial washing program, and if so, configuring at least one steam washing program based on the initial washing program, where the washing machine can perform the corresponding steam washing operation according to the steam washing program. The method heats a minimum amount of water each time to generate steam, and determines whether a second heating is performed to generate steam based on the washing effect, so massive heating is avoided if much steam is unnecessary, thus maximizing energy savings.

Abstract: Disclosed are a door-opening indicator for a drum washing machine and a control method therefor. A door body is provided with a door lock for locking and unlocking the door body that is controlled by a computer programmable controller of the washing machine. The door-opening indicator is provided on the door body of the drum washing machine and/or on the front surface of the washing machine and includes a touch sensing device and a colour-changeable indicator lamp set that are connected to the computer programmable controller. The touch sensing device includes a touch area and an opening/closing sensing device. The touch sensing device detects a touch signal and transmits the signal to the computer programmable controller; and the computer programmable controller directly controls the opening/closing of the door body and controls the indicator lamp set to change colours according to the change in washing state.

Abstract: A small size pulsator-type automatic washing machine comprises a housing, a control panel seat mounted on the top of the housing, a pedestal mounted at the bottom of the housing, an outer tub and an inner tub mounted inside the housing. A direct driving motor and a bearing block are mounted at the bottom of the outer tub. The motor is mounted on the outer tub by fixing elements, and a motor shaft is coupled with a pulsator shaft inside the bearing block. A fastener strap fixes the motor and the bearing block together onto the outer tub of the washing machine, thus reducing occupied space of the washing machine while improving a variety of installation mechanism of conventional washing machine. An insulation unit is disposed in the joint between the motor shaft and the tub shaft, such that the two parts cannot be in direct contact.
