Abstract: The present invention discloses a component in the hedgehog signaling pathway that can be useful in the treatment and diagnosis of hedgehog signaling pathway associated disorders. In this regard, the present invention discloses that RanBPM regulated the stability of hedgehog signaling molecule, smoothened (SMO) and that inactivation of RanBPM by siRNA prevented growth and metastasis of cancer cells.

Abstract: Microtubule encapsulated microcapsules of a phase-change material and preparation thereof are provided. The microcapsules of a phase-change material consist of a phase-change material, truncated microtubules, and a polymer. The truncated microtubules are formed by truncating hollow tubular natural fibers into fiber segments with a length of 0.1 mm-5 cm. The diameter of the hollow tubular natural fiber is 0.1-1000 ?m. The phase-change material is encapsulated in the truncated microtubules and the truncated microtubules are covered with the polymer. The microtubules have high energy storage density due to high hollowness, and can transfer energy stably due to the closed structure, transfer heat rapidly due to the very fine micro-tubular structures, and may be used for a long term in view of the heat and chemical stability.

Abstract: A billing method, and a billing system and a bill cycle cut off module which may be used in implementing the method, are provided. The method includes receiving an online billing message and carrying out preprocessing for the message, wherein the online billing message includes user identification information and billing information. The message further includes executing an online bill cycle cut off operation after determining that the bill cycle cut off operation is required to be triggered for an account related to the user identification information, obtaining a result of the bill cycle cut off, and carrying out a rating and billing operation according to the billing information so as to complete billing. The provided method can be applied to implement a real-time online bill cycle cut off and avoid loss resulted from out-of-time bill cycle cut off.

Abstract: A light-weight, compact, highly dexterous surgical robot system for performing in vivo minimally invasive surgeries that allows precise control of position and orientation of surgical tools. The surgical robot system has three rotational degrees of freedom and one translational degree of freedom and is composed of seven links joined by three gear pairs and six turning pairs. The surgical robot system maintains an open space where a surgical tool element enters the patient to avoid self-collisions within the robot system during surgeries.

Abstract: A method and system for ensuring QoS in a communication network and a SLA server. The system for ensuring QoS includes a service-specific server and a SLA server. The method for ensuring QoS includes: querying the SLA information according to a user identity, where the SLA information includes different service levels signed by the same user identity; obtaining different service levels signed by the same user identity; and providing the user with the service at a corresponding service level. Through the technical solution of the present invention, a user can subscribe to more than one service level and the SP can ensure the QoS at different service levels for the user.
