    Abstract: A liquid crystal display (LCD) panel and a driving method thereof are provided. The LCD panel includes display pixels each including RGBW display sub-pixels. The method includes: receiving an image data for representing a to-be-displayed image including image pixels; calculating RGBW image sub-pixel data corresponding to the image pixels according to the image data; using a first predetermined number of image pixels as a repeat unit and generating RGBW display sub-pixel data corresponding to a second predetermined number of display pixels by using each repeat unit in a pixel sharing manner, the first predetermined number being greater than the second predetermined number; and using the RGBW display sub-pixel data to drive RGBW display sub-pixels of corresponding display pixels. Accordingly, the edge blur phenomenon can be effectively improved by the image pixel sharing.

    Abstract: The present invention proposes a touch panel display device and an array substrate. A touch panel display device includes a touch detecting circuit, touch detecting electrodes, and transmission paths. One terminal of each of the transmission paths is connected to one of the touch detecting electrodes, and the other terminal of each of the transmission paths is connected to the touch detecting circuit, for transmitting a touch signal of the touch detecting electrode to the touch detecting circuit. A difference of variation for each touch signal of the touch detecting electrodes is smaller than a first predetermined value after being transmitted through each of the transmission paths. The first predetermined value is a threshold by which false identification occurs among the touch signals from the touch detecting electrodes. The present invention improves sensitivity of touch.

The difference between the disclosure and the current technique is that the cost is decreased effectively; meanwhile, the driving structure is simplified, a wiring area is decreased and it is favorable for a narrow frame design.

A side of the array substrate facing toward the liquid crystal layer is disposed touch electrodes. The touch electrodes are combined with common electrodes of the array substrate and arranged on the array substrate in a matrix. The compensation data are common electrode voltage offsets determined according to differences between grayscale information of the first image signal and an original second image signal. Accordingly, the invention can effectively improve the displayed image uniformity.

When the display component is in a display state, at least two switch control circuits are configured to set up a common voltage for the common electrode in the plurality of areas. The display states of the display component in the plurality of areas are detected to determine a malfunction of the detection circuit.
