Abstract: A device for preparing ultra-high purity zinc based on intelligently-controlled zone melting, including a slide platform connected with a screw through a servo control system to control movement of a heating-cooling device. A quartz tube is provided inside an induction heater to protect a melting zone. An infrared thermometer is connected to the heater, and configured to monitor temperature within the melting zone, and control power of the heater. A ring magnetic stirrer with non-contact circumferential rotation cooperates with coil to stir zinc melt. A water-cooling copper jacket is connected to two ends of the heater to cool a zinc bar, and its water inlet and outlet are connected with a water chiller. The infrared thermometer monitors temperature of the zinc bar and controls water flow of the cooling system. • Patent number: 9820229
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described in which dynamic voltage and frequency scaling may be used to save power when processing packets in a wireless communications device. In some cases, inframe detection may allow the device to determine whether to transition from a first (e.g., lower) voltage level to a second (e.g., higher) voltage level to process one or more packets of a received frame. For some packet types the first voltage level may be maintained. In other cases, the device may determine a bandwidth to use from among multiple bandwidths supported by the device. The bandwidth may be determined based on channel conditions. A voltage level may be identified that corresponds to the determined bandwidth and a processing voltage may be scaled to the identified voltage level. The device may be configured to operate in wireless local area network (WLAN) and/or in a cellular network (e.g., LTE).

  • Patent number: 8184754
Abstract: Spurs cause significant problems with signal detecting, amplifier gain adjustment, and signal decoding. Various techniques can be used to mitigate the effects of spurs on a received signal. Generally, these techniques work by either canceling or ignoring the spurs. For example, a pilot mask can be used to ignore pilot information in one or more sub-channels. A Viterbi mask can determine the weighting given to bits in a sub-channel based on spur and data rate information. Channel interpolation can compute a pseudo channel estimate for a sub-channel known to have a spur location can be computed by interpolating the channel estimates of adjacent good sub-channels. Filtering of the received signal using a low-pass filter, a growing box filter, or a low-pass filter with self-correlation can be used to cancel a spur.
