The method includes: sending a registration request to a first core network device of a first network by means of a UE; the UE receiving an available remote configuration mode sent by the first core network device, wherein the available remote configuration mode is determined by a remote configuration mode supported by the first network and/or by a remote configuration mode supported by a second network; and the UE performing remote configuration according to the available remote configuration mode.

Abstract: A method for determining a discontinuous reception (DRX) includes: sending configuration information of the DRX to a user equipment. A specified DRX cycle value contained in the configuration information is different from any one of default configurable DRX cycle values. The specified DRX cycle value may be determined in each subcarrier spacing (SCS) according to time domain resource allocation information corresponding to each SCS or may be based on the specified DRX cycle value in a specified SCS. In some methods, the specified DRX cycle value may be determined according to an arrival time interval of any one of service data, wherein the arrival time interval of the any one of the service data is different from any one of the default configurable DRX cycle values.
