Abstract: An application control method and an electronic device are disclosed. The method includes: (201) receiving a first input performed by a user in a target location on a display screen of the electronic device, where the target location corresponds to a location of an under-display camera of the electronic device; (202) displaying N identifiers in response to the first input, where each identifier is used to indicate an application with a photographing function; (203) receiving a second input performed by the user on a target identifier, where the target identifier is one of the N identifiers; and (204) in response to the second input, executing a control operation corresponding to the second input on a target application indicated by the target identifier, where N is a positive integer.
