    Abstract: This invention relates to a laborsaving lighter, and more particularly relates to a laborsaving and safe lighter, which includes a casing (101), and a piezoelectric assembly and a gas emitting assembly disposed in the casing. The piezoelectric assembly includes a piezoelectric push rod (104) and a button (105). A vertical slot opening (106) is formed in the end face of the button (105), and a safety piece (107) is disposed in the slot opening (106). There is a rock arm (109) between the gas emitting assembly and the safety piece (107). In the lighter's non-operative state, the upper end of the rock arm (109) rests against the lower part (107a) of the safety piece (107). The middle part of the rock arm is contacted with the piezoelectric push rod (104), and the lower end of the rock arm is connected pivotally to the inner surface of the casing (101). According to the principle of lever, the present invention is laborsaving as well as safety.

The fixed pin is enclosed in the groove with corner to slide relatively therein along the groove. The bottom end of the safety device engages with the gas lever. The control assembly is positioned at one side of the safety device to control the movement of the safety device.

According to the principle of lever, present invention is laborsaving as well as safety.

    Abstract: A gas lighter with a locking device of q-shape for reliably preventing ignition of the lighter when the actuator is in its locked position, and allowing ignition of the lighter when the locking device is moved from the locked position to a second unlocked position. The piezoelectric device has a step, and an end portion of the locking device contacts with the step in its locked position. When the users operate the locking device, the end portion of the locking device can be disengaged from the step. When the locking device is in its unlocked position, the actuator of the gas lighter can be pressed down to ignite the gas lighter. When the external force is missing, the locking device returns to a normal locking position by the spring force of the piezoelectric device. According to the present invention, the safety of the gas lighter is improved and the potential safety hazard due to an unintentional operation is eliminated.

    Abstract: A locking lever for a lighter actuation mechanism prevents the actuator from operating when in a locked position. Operation of the lever causes a portion of the lever to be withdrawn from a housing portion of the lighter and permit the actuator to be moved and operated. The lever mechanism is spring loaded so that the end of the lever normally extends into the lighter housing in a locked position. A top portion of the lever is flattened and curved to prevent intuitive operation by a child, while permitting an adult to easily disengage the locking mechanism. An end portion of the locking lever has a sloped profile to move the lever in an upward direction when the actuator device is returned to a normal position after operating the lighter. When the lighter actuator returns to a normal position, the spring loaded lever again extends into the housing of the lighter to prevent accidental operation.

In the existing lighter, when an actuator button is pressed, the discharge takes place between the high-voltage electrode and the gas nozzle, thereby the combustible gas is ignited, but such a lighter has unsatisfying safety. The lighter according to the present invention comprises a fuel tank, piezo-electric device and gas outlet device inside the fuel tank, and a windscreen above the gas outlet device. The piezo-electric device comprises a piezo-electric block, an actuator button associated with said piezo-electric block and a conducting wire. One end of the conducting wire is fixed to the piezo-electric block, the other end is fixed to the upper part of the fuel tank as a high-voltage electrode, characterized in that in the windscreen there are a conductor element, which can be brought close to the high-voltage electrode, and a control element connected thereto, said control element is connected to the gas outlet device.

    Abstract: A safety lighter is locked in a non-operable condition with a safety latch operable with a rotatable gear device. The rotatable gear is located in a top surface of the lighter actuator, and is coupled to a rack that moves linearly when the gear is rotated. The rack is extended into or withdrawn from the lighter housing to prevent or permit actuation of the lighter mechanism, respectfully. A lower portion of the rack has a sloped profile to permit the rack to be pushed upward by the lighter housing when the actuation device is returned to a normal, locked position. In the normal, locked position, the rack is driven into the lighter housing by a spring located in the actuator. The actuator mechanism is unlocked by rotating the gear in a direction opposite to that of the rotational direction for operating the actuator. The location of the gear on the top surface of the actuator permits the actuator to be unlocked and operated by an adult in a simple manner, while making the same task difficult for a child.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a lighter with a lock-off mechanism. Since the lighter in the art has not been provided with a lock-off mechanism limiting the operation of the actuator, the safety is lower. The lighter according to the present invention comprises a tank, a piezoelectric device, and an outlet device, wherein said actuator is provided with a lock-off mechanism formed by a gear, a rack and a return spring, the gear engages with the rack and cooperates together with it; the return spring is located between the actuator and the rack and causes the lower end of the rack being inserted into the tank in the no-operation condition. By moving the rack up or down, the locking or unlocking is achieved. According to the present invention, the safety of the lighter is improved, and the risk of generating a flame due to directly turning the actuator or unintentionally abutting against the actuator by an external force is avoided.
