    Abstract: An electronic device capable of audio files with different formats includes a power supply, a switching circuit, an audio control module, an audio output module, and a detecting module. The power supply supplies a first voltage and a second voltage. The detecting module detects whether the format of the audio file is changed. The detecting module generates a first detecting signal within a first predetermined time period from a point in time when the format of the audio file is changed time point, and the switching circuit transmits the first voltage to the audio control module in response to the first detecting signal. The audio control module receives the second voltage and generates a first signal based on the first voltage and the second voltage. The audio output module is disabled from outputting audio signal of the audio file.

    Abstract: A power source includes a first power terminal for outputting a first supply voltage. A power management circuit includes a pulse width modulation unit having an input power terminal, a first switch unit capable of being turned on to establish an electrical connection between the first power terminal and the input power terminal or being turned off to cut off the electrical connection, a storage unit. The input power terminal receives the first supply voltage from the first power terminal when the first switch unit is turned on, the pulse width modulation unit is powered by the first supply voltage to generate a pulse voltage at the output terminal. The storage unit receives the first supply voltage to store energy when the pulse voltage is in a first level, and releases energy to generate an operating voltage for powering the load when the pulse voltage is in a second level.

    Abstract: An exemplary charge indicator circuit indicates the state of charge of a battery. The charge indicator circuit includes a connection jack, an indicator module, a voltage detection module, a charger IC, and a path connection module. The indicator module includes an indicator. The indicator is on when the battery is being charged. The voltage detection module is to output a first response signal when the connection jack is connected to the power supply. The charger IC is to manage the charging of the battery, and output a low level signal when a condition of the battery is satisfied. The path connection module is in a shunt circuit of the indicator module, and enables the shunt circuit of the indicator module to cause the indicator to be on when the voltage detection module outputs the first response signal and the charger IC outputs the low level signal.

The protection method includes steps of: storing a power-off threshold voltage; detecting the supply voltage of the power source to generate a detecting voltage; determining whether the detecting voltage is equal to the power-off threshold voltage; beginning to count for a predetermined period of time when the detecting voltage is equal to the power-off threshold voltage and acquiring the detecting voltage during the predetermined period of time; determining whether each acquired detecting voltage is smaller than the power-off threshold voltage; and generating a first control signal when one of the acquired detecting voltages is larger than or is equal to the power-off threshold voltage; wherein the first control signal controls a processor of the electronic device to stop performing a power-off procedure.
