    Abstract: An optical fiber connector for connecting to an optical fiber cable includes a shell, a hollow guiding device, and a socket device. The hollow guiding device is connected to the shell. The socket device includes a hollow socket unit and a ferrule. The socket unit is formed as one piece and is detachably connected to an end of the guiding device opposite to the shell such that the optical fiber cable extends through the guiding device and the shell into the socket unit. The ferrule is disposed in the socket unit and is for connecting to one end of the optical fiber cable.

    Abstract: An optical fiber plug adapted to be connected to an optical fiber socket and a first optical fiber cable includes a plug sleeve unit, a plug unit, a plug guiding unit, and a coupling unit. The coupling unit includes a coupling seat, a coupling ring, and a coupling cover movable between a locked position and a released position. When the coupling cover is at the locked position, the optical fiber plug is locked to the optical fiber socket by the coupling ring. When the coupling cover is moved from the locked position to the released position, the coupling ring is urged resiliently by the coupling cover to release the optical fiber plug, thereby permitting separation of the optical fiber plug from the optical fiber socket.

    Abstract: A boot for cooperating with a head piece to serve as an optical fiber connector includes a positioning piece and a curved tube. The positioning piece is connected to the headpiece and has two parallel through holes. The curved tube has a curved tubular section and an affixing sleeve section. The curved tubular section is connected to the positioning piece, and is formed with an elongated groove that extends along length of the curved tubular section, such that two optical fiber lines coupled to the headpiece through the positioning piece are installed into the curved tubular section via the groove. The affixing sleeve section is connected to the curved tubular section, and is adapted for affixing portions of the optical fiber lines thereon.
