    Abstract: This document discloses one or more systems, apparatuses, methods, etc. for detecting a region (e.g., sub-meter) of interest (ROI) using radio signals. In an implementation, during training stage, multiple channel fading profile samples within a user defined ROI are received and stored in a portable device. During detecting stage, the portable device may implement a sub-meter ROI detection algorithm to perform the detection.
