  • Publication number: 20240169653
Abstract: A scene modeling system accesses a three-dimensional (3D) scene including a 3D object. The scene modeling system applies a silhouette bidirectional texture function (SBTF) model to the 3D object to generate an output image of a textured material rendered as a surface of the 3D object. Applying the SBTF model includes determining a bounding geometry for the surface of the 3D object. Applying the SBTF model includes determining, for each pixel of the output image, a pixel value based on the bounding geometry. The scene modeling system displays, via a user interface, the output image based on the determined pixel values.

  • Patent number: 9152836
Abstract: The present invention discloses a code scanning device including a code scanner, a supporting member and a data processing and controlling unit. The unit is configured for receiving data information of a scanned code and determining whether or not the data information is correct. If correct, the unit stops scanning of the code scanner and controls the supporting member to move so that a next code is shifted to a scanning position. Wherein when the data information is incorrect or the unit fails to receive data information, the unit controls the code scanner to keep on scanning, and when scanning time exceeds a second predetermined time and the unit fails to receive correct data information, the unit stops scanning and controls the supporting member to move so that a next given code is shifted to the scanning position. The scanning device has an improved scanning speed and a high scanning reliability.

  • Patent number: 8383226
Abstract: Structures are provided that include electroactive polymers. According to these structures, the electroactive materials have enhanced conductivity in a first direction. Also, the structures include either pores or inclusions. These pores or inclusions are non-parallel to the first direction. In addition, methods for forming structures that include electroactive polymers that have enhanced conductivity in a first direction are provided. These methods allow for pores and/or inclusions to be formed in the electroactive polymers.

  • Publication number: 20100111766
Abstract: Disclosed is an automatic analysis apparatus and its operation method. The apparatus includes a reaction disk for carrying cuvettes and driving the cuvettes to rotate or to stop at predetermined positions, a reagent dispensing mechanism for injecting a reagent into the cuvettes, and a sample dispensing mechanism for injecting a sample into the cuvettes. The reagent dispensing mechanism includes a reagent needle, and the sample dispensing mechanism includes a sample needle. In each working cycle, the reaction disk is started to move and stopped at least twice respectively, and the reagent needle and the sample needle perform corresponding adding operations to the cuvette in different stopping stages. The approach may perform different tests in lower cost, can avoid restriction to the relative position of the needles, and is beneficial to the overall layout design of the apparatus.
