    Abstract: In a method of sending a frame using a cyclic shift diversity (CSD) sequence, a wireless device generates a frame comprising a legacy short training field (L-STF), a legacy long training field (L-LTF), a legacy signal (L-SIG) field, a repeated legacy signal (RL-SIG) field, an extremely high throughput signal A (EHT-SIG A) field, and an extremely high throughput signal B (EHT-SIG B) field. The wire device sends the frame through a set of transmit antennas by performing cyclic shift over the fields according to a CSD sequence. The number of transmit antennas is greater than 8. The number of cyclic shift diversities in the CSD sequence is equal to a number of the transmit antennas, and each cyclic shift diversity has a value that is a multiple of 12.5.

    Abstract: The technology of this application relates to methods and apparatuses for sending and receiving a physical layer protocol data unit. The method includes generating a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU), where the PPDU includes a short training field, a length of a frequency domain sequence of the short training field is greater than a first length, and the first length is a length, for example, 2048, of a frequency domain sequence of a short training field that is transmitted over a 160 MHz-bandwidth channel. The method further includes sending the PPDU over a target channel, where a bandwidth of the target channel is greater than 160 MHz. According to embodiments of this application, a larger actual channel bandwidth can be achieved, and backward compatibility is implemented.

    Abstract: This application is applicable to a multi-link group addressed traffic transmission method and an apparatus. A first access point (AP) of an AP multi-link device (MLD) sends group addressed traffic indication information indicating whether each AP of other APs of the AP MLD has a group addressed traffic, so that a station (STA) can learn whether the multiple APs have a group addressed traffic. In this way, each STA of the STAMLD does not need to listen to each AP whether each AP has a group addressed traffic. This reduces power consumption of the STA MLD. This application may be applied to a wireless local area network system that supports an IEEE 802.11ax next-generation Wi-Fi EHT protocol, for example, 802.11 series protocols such as 802.11be.

In a scenario in which simultaneous transmission and reception over a plurality of links is not supported, a multi-link device first sends a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) over a first link, and then sends a second PPDU over a second link through channel contention, where an end time of the second PPDU is not later than an end time of the first PPDU. The method not only ensures fairness of multi-link access, but also can reduce an idle rate of the plurality of links.
