Abstract: A control device and a computer program product configured to complete the functions of determining that a task needs to be executed, where the task is a task to distribute the media content to a media play apparatus, acquiring device information of the multiple media distribution devices, selecting an available media distribution device from the multiple media distribution devices according to the device information, where the available media distribution device may be configured to process the media content such that the media content has an adaptive media stream format suitable for the media play device, and assigning, when there are multiple available media distribution devices, at least one segment of the media content to each of the available media distribution devices such that the multiple available media distribution devices jointly process the media content.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a network access method including: after a terminal device is connected to a first network, acquiring, by the terminal device, identification information of or a media file on a device on a second network; determining a sharing mode according to a property of the first network, and determining, according to the sharing mode, shared data that needs to be sent to a device on the first network, where the shared data includes the device or media file on the second network, and/or a media file on the terminal device; and acquiring an announcement message according to the sharing mode and advertising the announcement message to the first network. The present invention applies to ensuring network access security.

Embodiments of the present invention are advantageous because the control point can select, according to the resolution supported by the media playback device, a media resource of a corresponding resolution, and push the media resource of the corresponding resolution to the media playback device.
