    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for remote interference detection. The method which may be performed by a first network node comprises determining a first subcarrier in a first resource of the first network node to transmit a reference signal for remote interference detection. The first subcarrier may be aligned with a second subcarrier in a second resource of a second network node. In accordance with an exemplary embodiment, the method further comprises transmitting the reference signal on the first subcarrier, according to a first reference signal sequence mapped to the first resource. The first reference signal sequence may be aligned, in an overlapped part of the first resource and the second resource, with a second reference signal sequence mapped to the second resource.

    Abstract: A MIMO transmission point utilizes respective pluralities of beam weights to transmit corresponding pluralities of beams to each group of wireless devices, with respective numbers of resources being allocated for transmissions to each group of wireless devices. One method comprises: determining an average output power of the transmission point over a period of time in a first direction; comparing the average output power to an output power reference value; determining a fraction of a pool of available resources for the allocation of data to be transmitted by the transmission point as a function of the comparison; for each group of wireless devices, and determining beam gains in the first direction for each of the plurality of beams and weighting the number of resources allocated to the group of wireless devices according to the determined beam gains to obtain an effective number of resource blocks in the resources in the first direction.

    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method in a receiver for frequency offset estimation. The method includes: for each of two or more pairs of symbols in a set of symbols from a transmitter: calculating a phase difference between a first symbol and a second symbol in the pair; and removing from the calculated phase difference a phase difference component due to a difference between information carried in the first symbol and information carried in the second symbol, to obtain a residual phase difference component. The method further includes: estimating a frequency offset between the receiver and the transmitter as a function of the respective residual phase difference components obtained for the two or more pairs.

The method comprises obtaining values of total transmission power of the beamformed transmission. The method comprises determining bin-wise values of average transmission power from the bin-wise values of beamforming gain and the values of total transmission power. The method comprises combining the bin-wise values of average transmission power into one value of average total transmission power for the antenna array.
