    Abstract: A system to set a scan image as wallpaper includes a scanner and a host. The scanner includes a scanning part to scan a document and to form image data, an interface to communicate with another medium, and a control part to control the scanning part and the interface to transfer the image data to another medium via the interface. The host is connected with the scanner, and includes a driver program unit to drive the scanner, an application program unit to generate an image file by processing the image data transferred from the scanner, and a monitor to display the image file. When an automatic wallpaper setting is selected, the host processes the image data formed by the scanner according to a scan command to generate an image file, and automatically sets the image file as wallpaper on the monitor.

    Abstract: A tape substrate including an insulating film, a copper foil pattern formed on the insulating film at one side of the insulating film, and provided with a connecting area where an electronic element is to be mounted, a barrier layer plated on the copper foil pattern at the connecting area, and formed with a plurality of pores, and a tin layer plated on the barrier layer, and alloyed with a portion of the copper foil pattern corresponding to the connecting area, through the pores. A method for fabricating the tape substrate is also disclosed. In accordance with the invention, it is possible to reduce the time taken for the copper foil pattern to come into contact with the electroless tin plating solution used in the tin plating process, thereby preventing the copper component of the copper foil pattern from being eluted. Accordingly, there is no open-circuit fault caused by formation of pores.

    Abstract: An image data compensation method and apparatus, with the method including calculating a distance between a first reference line adjacent to a pattern and the pattern, calculating a distance between a second reference line adjacent to the pattern and perpendicular to the first reference line and the pattern, and calculating a difference between the predetermined coordinate value and the distances calculated, based on the first and second reference lines. Such an image data compensation method can compensate for image data errors due to mechanical tolerances each scanner has at a low cost when the scanner scans documents.
