  • Publication number: 20240026575
Abstract: In a method of making a carbon fiber, PAN (poly(acrylonitrile-co methacrylic acid)) is dissolved into a solvent to form a PAN solution. The PAN solution is extruded through a spinneret, thereby generating at least one precursor fiber. The precursor fiber is passed through a cold gelation medium, thereby causing the precursor fiber to gel. The precursor fiber is drawn to a predetermined draw ratio. The precursor fiber is continuously stabilized to form a stabilized fiber. The stabilized fiber is continuously carbonized thereby generating the carbon fiber. The carbon fiber is wound onto a spool. A carbon fiber has a fiber tensile strength in a range of 5.5 GPa to 5.83 GPa. The carbon fiber has a fiber tensile modulus in a range of 350 GPa to 375 GPa. The carbon fiber also has an effective diameter in a range of 5.1 ?m to 5.2 ?m.

  • Patent number: 10614485
Abstract: A content item may be received from an author and offered to customers on behalf of the author. A promotional activity associated with the content item may be conducted or performed. A baseline amount of sales expected for the content item during a time period associated with the promotional activity may be determined. The actual amount of sales of the content item during the time period may also be determined. Based on the baseline amount of sales and the actual amount of sales, the financial impact of the promotional activity may be determined. The expected financial impact of a future promotional activity for the content item that has yet to occur may be predicted. Some or all of the data may be visually presented to the author via a self-service interface.

  • Patent number: 10013639
Abstract: Digital images, such as digital photographs, are analyzed by an application running on a user device or other computing apparatus. Heuristics, characteristic detection or measurement techniques, or other analytics are used to evaluate individual digital images or to compare a plurality of digital images in accordance with user-input criteria. Digital images are then presented to a user as a result of the analysis, and further operations may be performed per user selections or input. Numerous digital images may thus be timely evaluated for aesthetic appeal, composition, subject matter content, or other factors, and then deleted, printed, distributed, or put other use.

  • Patent number: 7788198
Abstract: A strategy is described for detecting anomalies in the operation of a data processing environment. The strategy relies on parameter information to detect the anomalies in a detection operation, the parameter information being derived in a training operation. The parameter information is selected such that the detection of anomalies is governed by both a desired degree of sensitivity (determining how inclusive the detection operation is in defining anomalies) and responsiveness (determining how quickly the detection operation reports the anomalies). The detection operation includes specific algorithms for determining undesired trending and spiking in the performance data.

  • Publication number: 20100020950
Abstract: A method, a system and a device for realizing hangup notification service are provided. The method includes the following steps: during a conversation between a calling party and a called party, obtaining, by a switch device, hangup notification service information subscribed by a non-hangup user and/or a hangup user after one user party hangs up; connecting to a notification service platform according to the hangup notification service information; and playing, by the notification service platform, user-subscribed notification information for the non-hangup user. A system and a device for realizing notification service are provided in the present invention accordingly. Through the present invention, a user may establish individual profile by subscribing individualized notification information, and it is convenient for the user to set dynamic information for notifying the opposite user party.
