  • Patent number: 9610153
Abstract: An intra ocular implant consisting of optical elements, adapted to forming images on the retina, especially useful in treating presbyopic patients, patients with AMD, patients with other diseases of the retina, and patients in which future development of retinal disorders may occur. An intra ocular implant wherein at least one mirror is operationally connected to the action of the ciliary muscle or its effect on the zonules and capsule of the natural lens; and wherein the mirror is adapted to change curvature, position or optical properties, such that bringing a plurality of objects at different distances into focus is facilitated in presbyopic patients. A lens assembly comprising an intra ocular lens and, an adjustable external or contact lens comprising at least in part of light polarizing material; the assembly at least partially polarizes at least part of the central visual field, at least part of the peripheral visual field or both in any angle.

  • Patent number: 8377120
Abstract: An intraocular implant adapted to be implanted within the interior of a human eye is disclosed. The aforesaid implant is selected from a group consisting of: an intracorneal implant, an anterior chamber implant, a sulcus implant, implant in the bag, posterior chamber implant and any combination thereof. The implant comprises means selected from a group consisting of reflective surfaces and electronic device. The implant is adapted to form at least one image of at least part of the field of vision on the retina. The image is selected of a group consisting of: artificial image and reflected image, and any combination thereof. The image is formed on the retina by a predetermined indirect path selected from (z) optical reflective path and (U) electronic processing. Optionally, also a refracted image may also be created on the retina.

  • Patent number: 7008448
Abstract: An intraocular implant for implantation into the interior of a human eye, the eye having a retina, the implant comprising a body member and an optical arrangement. The body member has an anterior surface, a posterior surface and optical properties. The optical arrangement is configured for forming a first image on the retina. The first image is an image of at least part of the central visual field. The body member and/or the optical arrangement are configured for forming a second image on the retina. The second image is an image of at least part of the peripheral visual field.
