  • Publication number: 20240152134
Abstract: Example computer-implemented methods, media, and systems for isolating an emergency within process systems of a hydrocarbon processing facility are disclosed. One example method includes receiving a drawing of multiple process systems of a hydrocarbon processing facility. A respective identifier is assigned to each of multiple drawing vectors, where each of the multiple drawing vectors corresponds to a respective component of the multiple process systems. The multiple drawing vectors are coded based on the assigned identifiers. One or more drawing vectors connected to a location of the emergency are determined from the multiple coded drawing vectors. One or more connections between the one or more drawing vectors and the location of the emergency are identified. A first isolation valve for isolation of the emergency is determined from one or more isolation valves corresponding to the one or more connections. The first isolation valve is provided for the isolation of the emergency.

  • Patent number: 11673135
Abstract: The present invention relates to a flexible bag, a perfusion filter and a fluid port. The fluid port comprises: —a first fluid connection (3; 3?); —a second fluid connection (5; 5?) being in fluid communication with the first fluid connection (3; 3?); —an intermediate fluid path (7: 7?) connecting the first fluid connection (3; 3?) with the second fluid connection (5; 5?); wherein said intermediate fluid path (7; 7?) at least a portion of which comprises a substantially right-angled bend (9; 9?); —a protection cap (11; 11?) protecting at least the bend (9; 9?) of the intermediate fluid part (7; 7?) from contact with other objects; and —a connection surface (13; 13?) configured for sealing to a film of an object to be supplied by said port, said connection surface will, when sealed to the film of the object, together with the film provide a fluid tight seal surrounding the first fluid connection (3; 3?).

  • Publication number: 20220379310
Abstract: A workstation for processing particles entrained in a fluid includes a consumable portion and a reusable portion. The consumable portion is mounted to the reusable portion to form a fluid chamber in which an acoustic wave can be generated. The consumable portion implements a closed, isolated fluid environment that is managed using components of the reusable portion, such as valves, sensors and pumps. The workstation can be operated to retain particles from the fluid via the acoustic wave and provide a new fluid media to the retained particles. Following processing, the consumable portion can be removed and discarded.

  • Patent number: 11485947
Abstract: Disclosed is a hollow fiber filter arrangement and a bioreactor system comprising such a hollow fiber filter arrangement. The hollow fiber filter arrangement comprising: an inlet for receiving a sample to be filtered in the hollow fiber filter arrangement; an outlet for delivering of the filtered sample out from the hollow fiber filter arrangement; a bundle of elongate hollow fibers connected at a first end to the inlet and connected at an opposite second end to the outlet; and an outer housing enclosing the bundle, wherein a filtrate/waste collection space is provided between the outer housing and the at least one elongated hollow fiber, and wherein the outer housing is made from a flexible material.

  • Publication number: 20210129152
Abstract: A connector for flexible tubing comprises a first hollow insert for allowing fluid flow, having a proximal end configured to fit inside the tubing, a first outer part, a joining member rigidly connecting the first insert to the outer part at a region spaced from the proximal end of the first insert and a generally annular gap between the first insert and the first outer part, which forms a tubing accepting opening at or adjacent the proximal end of the insert, the first outer part further comprising plural resilient protrusions extending into the gap, allowing the tubing to be inserted, but resisting removal of the tubing once inserted and wherein at least the insert, the joining member and the outer part are formed as a single integral molding.
