Abstract: An antenna device for biological measurement according to the present invention includes a belt to be worn as surrounding a measurement target site of a living body. A transmission/reception antenna group is provided to the belt and includes a plurality of antenna elements. In a wearing state where the belt is worn as surrounding an outer surface of the measurement target site, a radio wave is emitted toward the measurement target site using any one of the antenna elements as a transmission antenna. A reflected radio wave is received using any one of the antenna elements as a reception antenna. A transmission/reception antenna pair formed of the transmission antenna and the reception antenna is selected by switching or weighted among the plurality of antenna elements based on a reception output.

  • Publication number: 20190335890
Abstract: The plaque detecting device of the present invention comprises a light emitting unit (450) which irradiates ultraviolet or blue excitation light (L) toward the tooth surface (99a), and a first and second light receiving units (402) which receive radiated light (L?) from the tooth surface (99a). The first light receiving unit extracts the spectral component of a first wavelength region including the wavelength range of fluorescent light specific to plaque from the radiated light (L?), and obtains a first output value corresponding to the intensity of that spectral component. The second light receiving unit extracts, from the radiated light (L?), the spectral component of a second wavelength region containing the wavelength range of the fluorescent light specific to enamel and having a predetermined lower limit wavelength below the lower limit wavelength of the first wavelength region, and obtains a second output value corresponding to the intensity of this spectral component.

Abstract: A sphygmomanometer includes: a first fluid bag that is to be worn around a measurement site; first and second pulse wave sensors that are mounted on first fluid bag, and detect pulse waves of respective opposing areas of an artery running along measurement site; pressing parts that locally presses areas corresponding to first and second pulse wave sensors from an outer circumference side, opposite of an inner circumference side of first fluid bag where first and second pulse wave sensors are mounted. Blood pressure is calculated based on pulse transit time obtained from outputs from first and second pulse wave sensors, with first fluid bag in an unpressurized state and first and second pulse wave sensors being pressed by a pressing force of the pressing part. Blood pressure is calculated, for oscillometric blood pressure measurement, based on pressure within first fluid bag with first fluid bag in a pressurized state.

  • Publication number: 20190290142
Abstract: A first and second pulse wave sensor is mounted on the belt in a state of being separated from each other in the width direction. The belt is mounted around the measurement site, the member presses the first and second pulse wave sensors against the measurement site with a predetermined pressing force. Each of the pulse wave sensors detects a pulse wave in a facing portion of an artery passing through the measurement site. The body motion detection unit detects the presence or absence of body motion. When there is no body motion, the control unit sets a force of the pressing member to a pressing force to measure a pulse wave with the sensors. When there is body motion, the control unit sets a force of the pressing member to a second force lower than the first force and higher than zero and interrupts measurement of a pulse wave.
