  • Publication number: 20240125748
Abstract: A gas identification method uses a sensor for outputting a signal corresponding to an adsorption concentration of a gas, and includes: acquiring a signal output from the sensor that is exposed to a sample gas only during a second period out of a measurement period including a first period, the second period following the first period, and a third period following the second period; extracting one or more feature quantities corresponding to the drift of the signal acquired; and, identifying the sample gas based on the one or more feature quantities extracted, using a learned logical model for identifying the sample gas, and outputting an identification result.

  • Publication number: 20180372636
Abstract: An image processing method of the present disclosure is an image processing method for extracting, as a detection bright spot, a bright spot indicating an object in an observation image. In this image processing method, a bright spot region including the bright spot is defined defining, with respect to the bright spot. A reference pixel is defined in an area surrounding the bright spot region. It is determined whether or not the bright spot region is included in a region of interest by evaluating a luminance value of the reference pixel. The bright spot included in the bright spot region is extracted as the detection bright spot in a case where it is determined that the bright spot region is included in the region of interest.

  • Publication number: 20120275518
Abstract: A moving picture coding method in which the position of a current I-slice for a current picture is shifted in the vertical direction of the current picture, and which includes (i) performing inter coding on a first P-slice without using a motion vector (Sa1), and (ii) performing intra coding on a second P-slice using a motion vector (Sa2); the first P-slice is included in a first region that is adjacent to the current I-slice in the direction opposite to the forward direction for the shift in the vertical direction, and the second P-slice is included in a second region that is other than the first region within the current picture.

  • Patent number: 4644156
Abstract: A code wheel for use in a reflective optical rotary encoder includes a code wheel body formed of a light-reflective material, and a photosensitive layer directly coated on a flat surface of the code wheel body and exposed to light to produce angularly spaced non-reflecting surfaces, thereby providing alternate reflecting and non-reflecting surfaces on the code wheel body. The speed and direction of rotation of the code wheel can be detected by radiating light onto the reflecting and non-reflecting surfaces and detecting light reflected by the reflecting surfaces.
