Abstract: Provided is a medical support arm system including a support arm that is a multilink structure having a plurality of links connected by a joint unit including an actuator, and supports a medical unit. The medical support arm system further includes a control device including an external force estimation unit to estimate an external force acting on the joint unit on the basis of a drive characteristic of the actuator, and a joint control unit to control drive of the joint unit on the basis of an external torque estimated by the external force estimation unit.

Abstract: An electronic equipment system includes a housing 20 and a plurality of modules 31 to 35, which are removably built in and fixed to the housing 20. The modules 31 to 34 includes a liquid crystal display 31a; a graphic control circuit 32a1 and a navigation control circuit 32a2; an MD unit 33a; and a CD unit 34a, respectively. The module 35 is formed through integration of control sections, such as constant-voltage circuits for power supply, which achieve a function that is common among the graphic control circuit and the navigation control circuit, the MD unit, and the CD unit. Thus, it becomes possible to replace only necessary one among the modules 31 to 34, thereby reducing cost necessary for upgrading of the system.

Abstract: In a vehicle display device having displays fitted in a grained panel of an instrument panel of a vehicle and serving to emit a display light to an outside during lighting, a front face of each of the displays is covered with a screen having a grained pattern which is provided with a large number of minute holes capable of transmitting the display light. Consequently, a screen can be seen through the minute holes of the screen when the display is turned on, while the display is hidden by the grained screen when the display is turned off. Therefore, the whole portion including the part having the display fitted therein is unified to be grained.

Abstract: The rotary plate of the cam member is formed with cam grooves symmetrical about the rotating shaft of the rotary plate. The rotating shaft has a rotary retainer plate at its end. A pair of mating housings are each provided with a cam follower pin that engages with the respective cam grooves. One of the housings is formed with a pin guide groove that guides the rotating shaft of the cam member and the cam follower pin of the other housing. At the dead end of the pin guide groove is formed an enagement completion opening from which the rotary retainer plate can be pulled out when the both housings are completely engaged together.
