Publication number: 20210269281Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a brake device deterioration prediction system capable of accurately predicting a deterioration time of a brake device. The brake device deterioration prediction system includes an observation unit, a conversion unit, a generation unit, and a prediction unit. The observation unit acquires operation data regarding the operation of the brake device when the brake device operates. The conversion unit converts the operation data into index data indicating deterioration of the brake device for each preset unit of time. The generation unit generates a deterioration model including a trend component showing a trend of long-term change and a periodic component showing a periodic change, as a model showing a change-with-time of deterioration represented by the index data. The prediction unit predicts the deterioration time of the brake device based on the deterioration model.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 19, 2018Publication date: September 2, 2021Applicants: Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, Mitsubishi Electric Building Techno-Service Co., Ltd.Inventors: Yasuhiro TOYAMA, Koji SAKATA, Satoshi SHIGA

Patent number: 7254881Abstract: A motor includes a stator having magnets, a rotor having teeth, a commutator secured to the rotor, and brushes. A coil is wound about each tooth. The commutator is connected to the coils. The brushes slidably contact the commutator. The number of the magnets and the number of the teeth are determined such that the resultant of torque vectors that act on the teeth is zero. For example, the number of the magnet is six, and the number of the teeth is eight. As a result, the rotor is prevented from vibrating.Type: GrantFiled: August 30, 2004Date of Patent: August 14, 2007Assignee: Asmo Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kaname Egawa, Toshio Yamamoto, Keiichi Uemura, Yasuhiro Toyama, Shinji Santo, Yoshiyuki Takabe, Takahiro Nakayama

Patent number: 5130709Abstract: A navigation apparatus for a vehicle according to the present invention is designed to compare the distance from the previous intersection or feature to a further feature with the value from an odometer (2) and then to forcibly zero the remaining distance to the further feature when the difference between the distance and the value of the odometer becomes equal to or smaller than a predetermined value and when the feature is detected by a radar (12) or a road surface sensor (13). In consequence, even if the vehicle has to travel a long distance before it reaches an intersection where it makes a turn, a correct travelled distance can be obtained by correcting the distance detection errors as each feature is detected, thereby enabling a correct present position to be detected.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 1991Date of Patent: July 14, 1992Assignees: Aisin AW Co., Ltd., Kabushiki Kaisha ShinsangyokaihatsuInventors: Yasuhiro Toyama, Takashi Yamada

Patent number: 5122961Abstract: A navigation apparatus for a vehicle includes a vehicle speed sensor (1-a) for detecting an actual vehicle speed, an odometer (1-b) for detecting a travel distance of the vehicle, a processing unit (5) for calculating a present position from the detection signals from the vehicle speed sensor and the odometer, and a display means for displaying the calculated present position on a map displayed. The actual vehicle speed is compared with an angular velocity of the wheel obtained by the odometer (1-b), and, only when the difference between the actual vehicle speed and the angular velocity of the wheel exceeds a predetermined value, the travel distance is calculated using the actual vehicle speed. The actual vehicle speed sensor (1-a) may include two photosensors. The vehicle speed is operated using the degree of coincidence of the two waveforms. Furthermore, the travel distance is calculated after the vehicle has travelled a fixed distance or for a fixed period of time.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 1989Date of Patent: June 16, 1992Assignees: Aisin Aw Co., Ltd., Kabushiki Kaisha ShinsangyokaihatsuInventors: Yasuhiro Toyama, Takashi Yamada
