  • Publication number: 20090167961
Abstract: In an information terminal 10 of the present invention, a read unit 34 reads image data to be displayed from a storage device (20, 50). A display 12 displays an image based on the read image data. An image transformation unit 44 applies image transformation to the displayed image. A background image acquisition unit 60 acquires the image data on the image transformed by the image transformation unit 44 and displayed on the display 12, as background image data to be pasted to the background of the display 12.

  • Patent number: 7433867
Abstract: A multimedia file has a format in which actual data is embedded in a file structure. The multimedia information is assembled in blocks, each composed of a header area and a data area, and has a hierarchical structure in which a block is embedded in another block. Header area information may include a file name identification information (block name), a number of child blocks information and data length identification information. This arrangement facilitates the creation and editing of a multimedia file, permitting high-speed data searching.

  • Patent number: 7346581
Abstract: A TV music broadcasting program is distributed from a distribution apparatus through a ground station and a satellite, and a musical-piece program is also distributed through a plurality of audio channels. A subscriber looks for the desired musical piece from a musical-piece list displayed on the screen of a TV receiver and downloads it into a storage device. A pay-per-view method is employed in which accounting is performed in units of musical pieces. At downloading, a purchase record is stored in an IC card placed in a receiving apparatus and it is periodically sent to a customer management center. The customer management center calculates the viewing fee and issues a bill to the subscriber. A copyright management apparatus in the distribution apparatus obtains the purchase record of a musical piece from the customer management center to calculate a copyright fee to be paid to the copyright holder.

  • Patent number: 7328458
Abstract: An authoring system authors content data for distribution through an information terminal by encryption for copyright protection. The system includes an authoring device and an authoring key generator. The generator generates a content identifier uniquely allocated to each of the content data, an authoring key enabling key uniquely allocated to the authoring device, and an authoring key obtained by encrypting a content key for encrypting the content data and a second content key using the CID and the CEK. The second content key is formed by encrypting the content key using a root key. The authoring device has a unit which decrypts the content key and the second content key using the CID and the CEK, and a unit which encrypts the content data using the decrypted content key to generate authored encrypted content data.

  • Patent number: 7301361
Abstract: A logic circuit for board power-supply evaluation to be incorporated into a logic device loaded on a product board includes a circuit that simulates an operation of the logic device so that utilization rate is variable at an arbitrary frequency by use of a predetermined circuit in all available logic elements of the logic device; a circuit that judges normality/abnormality of an operation of the operation simulation circuit; a utilization control circuit that varies and controls utilization rate of the logic device by controlling execution of an operation of the operation simulation circuit based on a judgement result of the operation judgement circuit and sets a utilization rate when the operation simulation circuit is instructed to stop the operation; and a utilization output circuit that outputs the judgement result of the operation judgement circuit and the utilization rate set by the utilization control circuit to the outside.

  • Publication number: 20070181575
Abstract: In a case having a cover and a case body openably connected to each other via a shaft and a shaft inserting portion, a quantity of gel to be used can be reduced while a braking effect of the cover is satisfactorily secured. A shaft is inserted into a shaft inserting portion such that a cover is turned with respect to a case body on the shaft to be thus opened. An urging mechanism urges the cover in an opening direction. A viscous material is charged between the shaft and the shaft inserting portion such that the cover is slowly opened with respect to the case body. An engaging projection is disposed at either one of the shaft or the shaft inserting portion while an engaged recess engageable with the engaging projection is disposed at the other to enlarge a contact area between the shaft and the shaft inserting portion via the viscous material.

  • Publication number: 20060277472
Abstract: The present invention provides screen displaying technology allowing improvement in operability and convenience for the user. A screen display apparatus receives a content, displays a plurality of tabs in a display screen, corresponds content information to any one of the plurality of tabs, and displays the content information corresponding to a displaying tab. In the case of corresponding content information to a non-displaying tab other than the displaying tab, it is determined whether or not a there is a non-corresponded, non-displaying tab to which other content information is not corresponded, and when the non-corresponded, non-displaying tab does not exist, the non-displaying tab selected based on a predetermined selection condition and the content information are corresponded.
