  • Patent number: 8844795
Abstract: In some examples, an electrode plate K is conveyed to a gap 230 of a pair of stacking drums 210 and 220 with a conveying section 100. In synchronization with conveyance of the electrode plate K, the drums 210 and 220 feed a pair of separators S each formed into a predetermined shape with the separators S adhering to corresponding peripheral surfaces of the pair of drums 210 and 220. While feeding the electrode plate K forward in a generally horizontal manner, the separators S are sequentially stacked on both surfaces of the electrode plate K in synchronized with rotations of the drums 210 and 220, and both edge portions of the separators S are welded.

  • Patent number: 8693167
Abstract: An electronic component includes a lead wire, a functional element, and an outer housing. The lead wire includes a leader electrode made of metal containing aluminum, a metal wire containing tin, and a welded section formed by welding a first end of the metal wire to a first end of the leader electrode. A second end of the leader electrode is connected to the functional element. The outer housing seals the functional element therein such that a second end of the metal wire is led out therefrom. The lead wire further includes a resin film coating the welded section at least at a portion not covered with the outer housing. Resin material for the resin film has pierce strength of 0.05 MPa/?m per unit thickness or greater and an elastic coefficient of 10 GPa or less.

  • Publication number: 20130068627
Abstract: A control device receives an output signal from a liquid level sensor disposed in an anode chamber. This output signal indicates whether the liquid level of the electrolytic bath in the anode chamber is higher than a reference level. When the liquid level of the electrolytic bath in the anode chamber is higher than the reference level, the control device increases, by a prescribe value, the frequency of a compressor driving voltage that is generated in an inverter circuit. This increases the rotational speed of a motor in the compressor, increases the discharge pressure of hydrogen gas being discharged from the compressor, and decreases the pressure inside the cathode chamber. As a result, the liquid level of the electrolytic bath in the cathode chamber rises, and the liquid level of the electrolytic bath in the anode chamber falls below the reference level.

  • Patent number: 8160042
Abstract: In a compressed mode, a spread spectrum communication device interleaves bit units across multiple frames using an interleaver, reduces the spreading factor using a framing/spreading unit, outputs the compressed mode frames at a predetermined compressed mode frame timing, and increases the average transmission power in the compressed mode at a radio frequency transmitter. Furthermore, a handover between different frequencies is carried out by establishing synchronization to another frequency carrier, based on a first search code and a second search code which have been detected, and moreover, a handover between different communication systems is carried out by establishing synchronization to a GSM, based on an FCCH and a SCH which have been detected.

  • Patent number: 7995541
Abstract: In the mobile radio communication system where the UMTS and an another system coexist an idle slot for observing the frequency component of another system is inserted in one superframe of UMTS. The duration of this idle slot is at most half of the duration of one frame that form the superframe and it is inserted at an interval of a specified number of frames. Therefore, the frequency component of the another system can be observed securely from the UMTS. Further, the deterioration of interleaving performance of the compressed mode frames during such observation can be suppressed.

Abstract: A communication apparatus includes a grouping controlling unit hierarchically groups frequency channels so that the number of channels included in a group of a layer becomes smaller than the number of channels included in a group of a layer immediately above; and a propagation path information estimating unit that estimates propagation path information of the channels. The apparatus also includes an average value calculating unit that calculates an average value of the propagation path information for each group in a highest layer with the estimate values, and calculates the estimate values used in each layer based on an average value of a layer immediately above to calculate an average value of the propagation path information for each group in other layers with the estimate values of the each layer; and a feedback unit that feeds back an average value acquired in each group as feedback information.
