  • Publication number: 20150352021
Abstract: Provided is a functional nonwoven fabric that has good feeling upon use, such as hand feeling (softness) or texture, and is capable of stably exhibiting the characteristics of hydroxyapatite (for example, microbe adsorption property). Disclosed is a functional nonwoven fabric in which sintered hydroxyapatite particles are fixed by thermal fusion bonding to a surface of a nonwoven fabric containing fibers, at least surfaces of the fibers being mainly composed of a thermoplastic resin, wherein a shearing rigidity of the functional nonwoven fabric is 8.5 gf/cm/degree or less.

  • Publication number: 20130273166
Abstract: A method for enlarging a breast includes the step of administering to a subject in need thereof a composition that includes a fine particle of calcium phosphate. The fine particle of calcium phosphate may be a fine particle of hydroxyapatite. An average particle size of the fine particle of calcium phosphate is 10 to 1,000 nm. The fine particle of calcium phosphate may be a sintered body. The sintered body may be manufactured by a method including: a mixing step in which a primary particle containing calcium phosphate is mixed with a fusion inhibitor, and a sintering step in which the mixed particle obtained by the mixing step defined above is exposed to a sintering temperature.

  • Publication number: 20120114832
Abstract: Provided is a means for fixing calcium phosphate onto the surface of a metal by a treatment method which uses no acid and produces less residue. A method of producing a calcium phosphate composite in which calcium phosphate is bonded to the surface of a base material, the method including a surface treatment step of bringing the surface of the base material into contact with a surface treating agent, and then into contact with a silane coupling agent, to surface treat the base material; a polymerization step of initiating, after the surface treatment step, polymerization of the silane coupling agent by means of a polymerization initiator; and a bonding step of bonding the silane coupling agent at the surface of the base material after the polymerization step, with calcium phosphate; wherein the base material is a metal, and the surface treating agent is ozone water.
