  • Publication number: 20210182572
Abstract: A drive recorder includes: an image generation unit that captures a periphery of the vehicle, and generates an image; a capture image storage unit that stores the image; a danger pattern classification unit that associates the image with any of multiple danger patterns; an information transmission unit that transmits vehicle information including a danger pattern associated with the image and identification information of the vehicle to the management apparatus; an instruction acquisition unit that acquires a transmission instruction specifying the danger pattern from the management apparatus; and an image transmission unit that transmits the image to the management apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9125023
Abstract: In a communication system for conducting wireless communication between communication units mounted in vehicles, workload information indicating a workload of a driver of each vehicle is generated. When a communication request for requesting communication is transmitted from the communication unit of a first vehicle, it is determined whether the workload of a driver of the first vehicle and the workload of a driver of a second vehicle are lower than a predetermined level. When the workload of the driver of the first vehicle and the workload of the driver of the second vehicle are determined lower than the predetermined level, an incoming call is notified to the driver of the second vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8892361
Abstract: An information center calculates, from a specific departure point to a specific destination, (i) an optimal route for an in-vehicle terminal when a request terminal of a route search request is the in-vehicle terminal and (ii) an optimal route for a mobile terminal when the request terminal of the route search request is the mobile terminal, respectively. The calculated optimal route for the in-vehicle terminal is different from the calculated optimal route for the mobile terminal.

  • Patent number: 5634708
Abstract: A rear indicator device for an automobile arranged inwardly of and adjacent to a rear window. The device includes a light guide plate 2, a hologram 2 arranged in the light guide plate 2 and an irregular shaped prism having a first section having an apex angle .phi.1 at which the light beam from a light source 5 is subjected to a refraction so that the light beam is flattened. The flattened beam is again introduced into the prism at a second section which is in face to face contact with the light guide plate 2, so that the light beam is transmitted inside the light guide plate 2 toward the hologram 3, whereat the light beam is introduced into the hologram at a predetermined angle of incidence, so that a horizontal light beam of a predetermined wave length is obtained in a rear direction of the automobile to indicate the braking of the automobile.

  • Patent number: 5599087
Abstract: A corner or end position indicating apparatus for an automotive vehicle comprises a light source 6 emitting light, and first and second marker point indicators 2 and 3. The first marker point indicator 2, displayed red, is larger and brighter than the second marker point indicator 3 displayed blue. A first optical path is defined between the first marker point indicator 2 and the light source 6, and a second optical path is defined between the second marker point indicator 3 and the light source 6. The first optical path is longer than the second optical path. A concave mirror 5 alters a direction of the light emitted from the light source 5 upward a rear window glass R of the automotive vehicle. The first marker point indicator 2, the light source 6 and the concave mirror 5 are cooperative to form an image 2a of the first marker point indicator 2 at a position corresponding to a corner or end position of a vehicle body.
