  • Patent number: 9452670
Abstract: A vehicle includes a power unit with an engine that transmits drive force forward and backward to front and rear wheels via propeller shafts. The power unit is supported on a vehicle frame by engine mounts provided at three locations. An engine mount on one side of a crankshaft is farther from the center of gravity of the power unit than the other two mounts. This engine mount joins the crank case and the vehicle frame. The two other engine mounts on the other side of the crankshaft are closer to the center of gravity. These engine mounts join the vehicle frame and front and rear ends of an engine hanger that is joined to the crank case and extends forward and backward beyond at least one of a front end and a rear end of the crank case.

  • Patent number: 9346492
Abstract: An off-road vehicle is provided with a body frame that supports a final drive unit and a rear suspension, the rear suspension that supports rear wheels with an upper arm and an lower arm and absorbs shock with a rear cushion unit disposed between the rear wheels and the body frame, and a drive shaft that transmits a driving force from the final drive unit to the rear wheels. The body frame that configures generally rectangular parallelepiped sides enclosing the area around the final drive unit is provided with a front rear side frame. The front rear side frame vertically extends the left and right of one side of either the front side or the back side of the final drive unit and supports the upper arm, the lower arm, and the rear cushion unit.

  • Patent number: 8926313
Abstract: A bladder-type jig used for manufacturing a stiffened panel structure using a hat stringer has the advantage that deformation of prepreg can be suppressed effectively, and durability of the jig can be improved so that repeated use of the jig is achieved. A body of the bladder includes a pipe-shaped portion and a coating film covering the outer peripheral surface of the pipe-shaped portion. The pipe-shaped portion is a main body portion of the body, and is made of a silicone rubber composition material such that its transverse cross-section has a trapezoidal pipe shape. Both side edge portions of an exposed wall portion corresponding to a lower base of the transverse cross-section are thickened edge portions which are greater in thickness than another wall portions. The thickened edge portions support the exposed wall portion from inward of the body, and can suppress the exposed wall portion from getting deformed inwardly.

  • Patent number: 8602401
Abstract: A bladder-type jig which is suitably used for manufacturing a stiffened panel structure using a hat stringer, and improves durability of the jig to enable repeated use of the jig. A body which is a body of a bladder has a hollow pipe-shape inside thereof. One end portion of the body is sealed by a terminal metal member, and the interior of body is in an air-tight condition. An insertion portion of the terminal metal member is inserted into a hollow space of the end portion of the body. A plurality of band-shaped groove portions are provided on the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion such that the groove portions are wound around the outer peripheral surface. The band-shaped groove portions form a plurality of annular adhesive layers between the inner surface of the body and the outer peripheral surface of the insertion portion. This makes it possible to enhance an adhesive state between the body and the terminal metal member and air tightness in the interior of the body.
