The first cover is located at another end of a housing when the first cover is located at the first closed position. A second cover moves between a second closed position and a second open position. The second cover is located closer to one end than the first cover is at the first closed position and at the second closed position. A first portion of a first conveyance path is formed between the first cover and the second cover at the first closed position and at the second closed position. A second portion of a second conveyance path is formed at a side of the second cover facing the one end at the second closed position. When the first cover opens the first portion, the second cover is located at the second closed position.

Abstract: A lever switch is provided having an operating first knob 14 and a lever rod 3. The lever rod 3 has one end pivotally disposed in a case 6 and the other end disposed to project from the case. The first knob 14 and a boot 22 are disposed side by side. The first knob 14 has a first opening 14a that opposes a second opening 22c of the boot 22. As a result of this construction, the first opening, lever rod, and wire harness of the lever switch cannot be seen from outside, and the lever switch has an operating portion of good appearance in its entirety.

Abstract: A lever switch for vehicles has a first lever 6, a second lever 7, and a third lever 5. The first lever 6 is provided with a first operation rod 9 for operating a first movable member 18 disposed on a pole board 22. The second lever 7 is provided with a second operation rod 7f for operating a second movable member 19 disposed on the pole board 22. The third lever 5 is provided with a third operation rod 5a for operating a third movable member 17 disposed on the pole board 22. The lever switch provides two rotary knobs mounted on a single operation lever assembly and is made compact and slim in formation.
